can all tube amps run a short or no? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not all can, the Zen was bass-ackwards in that it liked lower impedances - most tube amps actually favor higher impedances like 8 or 16 ohms. The Zen would love 2 or 4 ohm loads, just the way the output transformers were wound.

Otherise, would have ended up like :podt: or something.

Took me a few times to get that right.

Thanks, I actually liked that pic too. I normally take bland, chitty pix but that one just happened by accident. Wish I could have at least taken a photo class in HS, seems like a fun hobby. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I basically lived in a darkroom for most of my senior year...wanted to get into medium format, but since I don't have a darkroom or access to one anymore, sold off most of my good 35mm gear Digital is cool, and certainly more practical, but...it's a different feeling when you've invested the time to take it from a roll of film to maybe one or two prints that you feel really good about.
