Delta makes a variable angle floorstanding unit that I used to use in HS (for a spoiled rich kid's private school, we had one hell of a woodshop, even though the only class that ever used it was physics). Absolutely love that design. Don't have the room in the basement for it, though...and I'm stuck here in an apartment.

In all fairness, a lot of small car drivers really need to be aware to not drive in large vehicles' blind spots; I've had plenty of Civics and other tiny-ass cars follow me to the point where I can barely see the roof of the car in my rear view, and nothing at all in my side mirrors...just waiting for the day someone doesn't stop in time. Not saying it was your fault - in the words of my driver's ed instructor, "Women should not drive anything they can't see over"
