The Class A will have no crossover distortion as the waveform cycles back and forth - no switching topology is ever truly free from this. And although it doesn't directly the sound, I'd prefer the simplicity of the design. And who says that anything above a DF of 50 is "sufficient"? I beg to differ...hehe.

Just listening to the Klipsch's off the NAD 3020...yeah yeah, solid-state power for now, but at least it's vintage SS Damn, the bass on these things are great...definitely more than what I'm used to for a set of towers. Guess the 12" front firing driver and the 15" PR, not to mention the corner loading, helps that Not just the low bass, but the midbass as well... I can't pucking wait to get the 2A3's on these. Apparently, the 6BQ5 amp is sitting at home, because they decided to send it to my NC address... Hopefully if I talk to Dave E. this weekend, I could get the cabs finished for that amp, and have it working by next weekend w00t w00t

Like the Forte II's...the damn things look like they rolled off the factory floor yesterday, and they were built over 12 years ago. Or all the various other stuff I've bought and sold over the years. The few times I've been screwed have actually been going through regular forums, not on Ebay. And only once have I not been able to get my money back...

How would they enforce that, though? At some point, it's the bidder's responsibility to pay attention, and call the seller out if the prices are way out of line.

Yeah, I guess...but a lot of people that have brains also come off as asses. Like when I was told by a certain member on SIN that it was silly for me to use vacuum tubes and high efficiency drivers...because CSS 4.5" full range drivers and solid state amps would be vastly better. I realize some people are trying to get a sale, but please...I know what my audio tastes are, thank you very much.
