Wireless energy has been tried... Tesla couldn't make it work for practical distances. The whole "violating-known-laws-of-physics" thing. Induction is the closest thing, but only works for a few inches at most.

Found a cheap way to go. Going to build these: http://madisound.com/bk16.html Pre-dado'ed, pre-cut...some furniture clamps and a coat or two of Minwax and I've got teh hornz Hell of a deal. And more importantly, something I don't need a woodshop to build.

I don't know if I'm going with that...the BK-16 horn kit on Madisound sort of needs tweeters because the FF165K drivers need a tweet for the top end. If Dave E. would get back to me, I could probably do it for cheaper

and besides, most horns are built out of ply for some reason...
