Then you're not looking in the right places. QSC's Powerlight and PLX series are quite good, so are Crown's upper end lines. Heck, Nick M. told me he gets pretty good results with a QSC RMX series amp, and those are available everywhere. I think you're expecting to find the saturated market prices of 12V audio, which you aren't going to get.
