Paypal could write you a check, but it costs money.

You don't need a CC at all. A checking account helps, as you can transfer funds in and out from PP to checking for free...that comes in handy sometimes, and verification takes maybe a business day or two.

trust me, you're going to want subs soon I moved back in (with the Rava ) a few days before everyone else did...I think there were three of us down on our end of the hall, and that was it in the building. For those few days, we let loose with that thing...having it was a good idea. Ironically, I'm probably not going to use it now in my apartment as much as I did in the dorms...and I've got three times the space...
