Hello all... sort of good to be back.

Anyone know anything about kayaking? My dad used to do it, I've been tempted lately to get involved in it. There are some good rivers/lakes up in the mountains to explore, and since I love photography and fishing, seems like a good way to get to places to do both Not to mention, hauling a boat around in the van would be a piece of cake I know very little about actual models and values, though...I know the difference between sea and rapids boats, but nothing of current good recommendations, or what I should get. I'd be looking for a good middle ground, as I probably wouldn't be going through major rapids...at least not on purpose

waiting for custom amp work = teh suck. oh well, it's better than paying double or triple for off-the-shelf products. rather save money and have patience than have no patience and be completely broke.

I'd name them after ex's... Takes up room in your house, always loud, didn't work right the first time, pretty to look at but labor-intensive.
