  8. The Decware Zen I used to have was 2wpc @ 2 ohms. I was using 92dB/W speakers on it, and although it filled the room nicely at low to moderate volumes, I couldn't crank it up as loud as I wanted it without it distorting. My new 2A3 rig is going to run 3.5w right before clipping, and the Klipsch's are 96db/W. That should provide enough grunt. What do you mean, "bass wise"? SET amps aren't what you want if you're looking for powerful low bass response, even with efficient speakers. Push-pull amps would be better suited for that.
