Yeah, I've had some experiences with those So glad to get out of here, though...I can actually set up my stereo the way I really want it, with the NAD/JBL system in the living room and the tubes in my bedroom or office.

I found this guy selling some stuff on Ebay, turns out he builds custom tube amps to your specs...so I emailed him about a 6 watt/channel, single-ended EL84 with a fullwave tube rectifer. Hopefully his prices aren't too bad...if I get one, the Decware Zen will be up for sale

But they can do some crazy things on a trail...Hummer performance for the price of a Civic.
