    Yeah, although the accessory electrical system has been on the fritz lately. My original battery terminals are starting to go, I think I need to finally stop being a cheapass and wire them correctly with real battery terminals.

    actually, my amp wouldn't sound too bad if you bought another one and bridged them as monoblocks on your regular, run-of-the-mill 87dB/W bookshelf speaker variety. Would probably be more expensive than just getting high-eff speakers though.

    yeah, but you probably don't have the right speakers for it If you have over 92dB/W efficient speakers, and don't need to run a party with it, anything under 5 watts is plenty.
  11. the RIAA is going through the same thing the MPAA went through with DeCSS, and Betamax/VHS before it. Everything old is new again... Eventually, technology is going to leave them in the dust. Build a better copyright protection system...someone's going to build a better way to get around it. Just the way these things go.

    my dual 12AU7 preamp arrived today, looks really sweet. now I'm debating selling my 6BQ5 single-ended amp and going balls out with a 2A3 SET...3.5w of raw, grunting, triode power...anybody need an amp to buy?

    Kent - The TC9+ is installed. Looks very sweet. I took plenty of pics, and they're on my camera - but like an idiot, I forgot the adapter cable at my house So, no pics until this weekend...sucks.
