SVC 1.5 ohm would make me cry I need an SVC 2 ohm or greater for a single driver, and since wiring two in series would probably be a bad idea, I'd be stuck. But it's probably too early to tell, I don't know.

off to be somewhat productive, and try to keep my GPA somewhat afloat...

$400 isn't *that* great, in all honesty... for 400 one could pick up a QSC RMX1450...1.4kW at 4 ohms. Sure, you'd have to modify it to get rid of that fan noise, but hey...the smaller RMX850 goes for $300. I'm just female doging because I'm spending all my cash right now on the full range project and don't have enough left over for an amp, but still...
