i think i've decided on what speakers to use for my home mini-system. now i just need the money to build them.

doubtful Besides, it's been slowing down there lately, at least with the number of useful posts.

What it's got currently... the audio system - alpine 7894 boston acoustics fx6 6.5" coaxials in doors pg tantrum 500.2 pg tantrum 1200.1 e12a.22 ported in 1.5cF, tuned to 27Hz monster cable/pg interconnects, 2awg welding cable optima yellow top the radio system - icom ic-706mkiig...covers 1.8-440mHz continous icom ic-2720H vhf/uhf rig...both radios also double as scanners yaesu vx-5r handheld vhf/uhf motorola 19" quarter-wave vertical, roof mounted commercial Larsen dual band antenna, roof mounted Radioshack 102" stainless steel whip, mounted off rear quarterpanel heavy-duty spring and ball mount Icom AH-4 remotely-mounted antenna tuner future: garmin 76 waas gps + remote antenna kenwood th-d7a handheld as a data transmitter/terminal node controller 5/8-wave vertical antenna, mirror-mounted for a mobile GPS tracking project that I've been mulling...on the back burner though.

there's a reason they're called them shaggin' wagons, you know Nah, I thought about getting it repainted when I got it, but for the $3k a complete priming/repaint would cost, I figured I'd just keep it...especially with some of the responses I get from it

I had a scar on my arm for the longest time because of that...it was funny, I didn't even feel my skin burning off until I smelled it Definitely not something you want to smell...
