'tis classified from vitveet over on CA.com (and SD). he's got a few rare custom drivers that came out of the TC shop.

EFFENDI has entered the building
oh no, what's this place coming to welcome. the attitude is different here - CA.com is where the questions are asked, generally here is where everybody kicks back.

Welcome to the IHoP
i hate having equipment that needs more equipment. i've got a sub, that needs a box and amplifier to drive it. i've got an amp, that needs a preamp and speakers. i need a turntable...well, because i want one. my checkbook is giving me that look again...like it won't have any of this.

Welcome to the IHoP
tell me about it... my SET system won't be done until the summer, at the rate i'm going. of course, i probably won't have a place to put it until the summer anyway. all i've got now is an amp, and a few sources. don't even have speakers for it. woohoo.

Then what?
If JBL vehicle speakers are built anything like my home monitors are, I wouldn't hesitant to try them, at least. I bought my Studio 38's on a whim and they've worked out great.

Sealed enclosure for TC9+
Well, after getting my new TC9+, I've been thinking it over, and I think I'm going to use it for my home system. As far as I can tell, this sub is pretty damn close to a RL-p in an electrical sense, but I'll be getting the T/S params from the seller soon to confirm that. What would be some recommendations for a sealed enclosure with a mid-Q alignment for something like this - power is probably going to be around 750-800W, maybe a kW if I can afford a rack amp to do that. Thanks.

New subwooferage
actually, my plans for this little beastie might have changed...the more and more I think about it, I really like having the e12a.22 in the van, I'd rather have a 15" on home stereo duty. Think I'm going over to the SS forum to ask a few questions
