  2. ahhhhhhhhhhh its not there lol Im gonna keep looking
  3. i wanna play. Whats the table name and how do i get in?
  4. why not use partypoker.com?
  5. is this play money poker?
  6. any mods wanna edit this poll to allow multiple votes and to include .5 ohm? I really screwed up on this one. lol.
  7. dammit. I forgot about .5 ohm amps. For the sake of the thread lets keep this to 1kw + amps that are stable according to the manufacturer at whatever they do max power at.
  8. heres the poll i made http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...?showtopic=2777
  9. I'll go first. elemental designs nine.1 1 ohm 1400w or so rms
  10. I was just wondering what most 1kw + amps do max power at and remain stable according to manufacturer at. If your 1 ohm stable amp can go to .5 ohm stable with some modding lets classify it is as doing max power at 1 ohm for the sake of this thread. Feel free to post what amp you have, what resistance it does max power at, and what rms power at that resistance is.
  11. Good point. This calls for a poll. Im on it. I think Im gonna make it for 1kw + amps only. That seems fair.
  12. H/U- Ive got a pioneer which is pretty nice, but Alpines gotta be my fav Subs- Soundplinter rl-p hands down or w7 if you got an unlimited budget Amp- elemental designs, although the company is really starting to piss me off. amps are still solid though. Then theres always the jl slash series if pirce isnt an issue comps- dynaudio or diamond. Havent heard too many but these are the best i've heard so far
  13. Damn, I go to mexico for a few days and I miss a ton of stuff. SOunds like tc is really on the ball with this one. Everything sounds good so far, except the price. lol. I guess I'm just cheap and expected too much out of this. BUt IMO, if you could keep the 15 close to 500 and the 12 a little under 500 youd probably sell quite a bit more. Maybe its just me, but 560 sounds like an incredibley high price for a sub whereas 495 doesnt sound that bad. IF it is out of your control then don't worry about. If it is as good as everyone says it is then it will sell regardless of price. Besides, I think I may still have to bite the bullet and purchase one of these when they are released. I think a return customer discount would be an AWESOME idea I also really think svc 2 ohm or less would be the way to go. I think most people running high power amps are running monoblocks that do max power at 1 or 2 ohms, so a svc 4 ohm would just make most have to go buy a new amp. Keep up the good work mike!
  14. My hopes power handling- 1kw + VC config- SVC 1.5 ohm no more than 2 ohm Excursion-35mm or more Price- under 400 for a 15 box- medium sized box would be fine. Im as happy as long as a 15 doesnt need 4.5 cu ft net ported. that would be just ridiculous. sizes- 12" and 15" looks- similar to the current rl-p Mike, have you guys decided which motor you are going to use? *crosses fingers and hopes for a 3hp lmt driver*
  15. youd probably be fine running a 1.5 ohm sub off a 2 ohm amp. It shouldnt matter that much if you have a solid amp. Just dont ruin this for the rest of us by giving mike crazy ideas like that. lol
  16. So what do you guys think about the LMT. For those of you that know how, what would you design the woofer for? What kind of specs and why? Just curious as this is just the beginning and I wonder how the end product will be as compared to what we all looking for. What kind of wattage you guys hopin it'll take? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Im hoping for a sub that can be wired to 1 ohm however from what little I know about LMT I believe they are only able to mate it with a svc. A svc 1.5 ohm would be nice and I think feasible, I am hoping for power handling to be 1500w or so however I've heard these things are pretty efficient. I know tc sounds has made a tc 3hp lmt and a tc9 (rl-p) lmt. I am hoping that mike distributes something along the lines of the initial protos that used the 3hp. Its not very likely though since those things were absolutely insane. 48mm one way xmax Im sure the price tag on something like that would be pretty d*mn high and there wouldnt be as many buyers, so it seems the best lmt driver for mike to distribute would be someting that has slighttyly better specs than a brahma or xxx and carries the same price tag. I'll just have to wait and see what mike releases though. I am sure whatever it is, it will be awesome.
  17. mmmm, yeah. You're a little late.
  18. well... it is later this evening
  19. ooo, do a stealth install with 8's
  20. 8's are cool. go for it
  21. Here, I'll try to help take your mind off it... <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
  22. Prices on the 8's are staying steady @ $148 a piece or $135 a piece if you a pair. As stated in the dedicated RL-i8 thread, they are not to be used as midbass drivers and are in fact a true subwoofer performing optimally at 100 Hz and below. I will have more info ready to post here with regards to the LMT soon. I have to go and run around for an hour or two but if all goes smoothly I'll slap up some data on the LMT straight from the hounds at TC Sounds later this evening. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> sounds good mike. I'm hoping you are going to pair LMT with some 3hp's. That would be sweet. This wait is killing me already. lol.
  23. Anybody want an rl-p?
  24. Just so you all know, I called dibs on the first LMT driver way back
  25. Anybody up? Im on spring break this week and decided theres no point in sleeping.
