I just purchased a 540i/6 today and I am soooooooooooooooooo excited. This car is amazing. It is a 99 blk on blk 6 spd with xenons and only 50k miles. I got it for $20,500 and I am absolutely loving it. I am somewhat of a novice with stick, so starting is a little rough still but once I am out of first I can make this thing fly! Now for what you all want to see

i know for a fact he has no 2000w amps. The most powerful one has is the 2.400 which is 480w @ 4 ohms bridged.

I like my amps and I know some people that are pleased with the comps and subs. I know someone benched his 5ch and came up with 110w on one of the channels which is way more than the rated 70 but he was only running a singel chanel

I know all about the well sealed trunk in these cars and it is one of the only things keeping me from selling the rl-p. Then again, I don't think I want ths much bass anymore. It is ridiculous. I think a single 12 sealed should do it for me. I think i would hold onto it, but the fact that I can probably get $400+ for just the rl-p and my home made box is very appealing. I might need the money from all of my equipment to even purchase this car. Decisions, decisions.

I have been thinking a lot lately :nono and I just might sell the rl-p. I am close to getting a new car (possibly this beauty) and am now tihnking a 15" rl-p is just too much. The box and sub weigh around 100 lbs which is way more than you want in the trunk of a 540. Not to mention I don't want this car to fal apart on me. I could probably sell the rl-p and my box locally for over $400 which would then give me some more money for the car and maybe even a little 12" set up to hold me over for awhile. If i sell my nine1 with it I could probably get $700-750, which would definitely help with some mods (read:updated lights) for the 5er. Maybe I'm crazy, but I am really considering this.

I <3 Mike All this talk got my emotions flowing freely Seriously though, kent is probably the reason I got a soundsplinter and now that I have one there have been tons of people that have seen my threads and have become interested in soundplinter. IT seems like every person I tell to email Mike comes back and tells me they are sold. He's just to good of a guy to say no to I guess. Also, the product itself is awesome. Normally, I get sick of stuff really quick for whatever reason. I have had my rl-p for months now and I still love it as much, no actually more than the day I got it. keep up the great work Mike B)

crossover was just shipped to coustic in phoenix az. They will get it thursday and I am hoping they have a quick turn around. I forgot to ask how long it will take but it would be great if they could get it back to me by next weekend.

NOthing for the moment. I will pobably pull the mids and put my cadence comps in for the moment. It will probably take a week or two to get the crossover back from stereodirect. When I get the coustic back, I will go back to my never ending install.
