The hu was already installed. I didnt unplug anywires. I just pulled it out so I could run my rca's. I'll check back there anyways though because I might have knocked something out when pushing the hu back in.

BAD NEWS My crossover is definitely bad. Left side of ch A goes in and out. At first I thought it was a bad set of rca's because when I replaced them it worked fine but after testing again it is definitely the crossover. I am really mad right now because this will set me back at least a week and probably even more

SSA West Coast (SoCal) Meet, which date??
I am going to try and make it. I might be playing in some national allstar tourney though. I'll just have to wait and see how things go, but I am hoping I can make it.

I am really frustrated right now. For some reason, my interior lights would not go out. It was as if a door was open, but none were. I checked all of the door sensor things and they appeared fine. The only way I could get the lights to go out was to pull the fuse on them, so as of now I have no working interior lights.

Pulled EVERYTHING out tody and started over. Time to do this right! I am still not finished, but I am close® My tweeters are still floating around the dash for the time being. I have plaid around with tweeter placement a little while driving the past week and have decided to place them somewhere in the door. I did not want to cut the door at all seeing as how I will be replacing this car in amonth or so, BU ti figure I'll just pick up a pair of NEXT comps to fill inany holes I make when iget rid of the car. Heres some more pics of everything. :redspot

*PICS* My DIY Active Component Setup
how's everything working for you (the crossover in particular)? I think I might have gotten a bad one because it is so incredibly touchy. One minute, the left ch won't work then I'll try everything I can to get it to work to no avail then it just randomly starts working again. Its got me fooled.

sadly thats nowhere near as ghetto as my current set up I am getting so pucking frustrated with this damn coustic crossover. It is so pucking tempermental. One minte the left tweet doesnt work. I try everything for an hour. get pissed walk away from it come back, turn on the car and they both work. The same thing happened wearlier with the mids. I cant fudgein take it anymore. ahhhhhhhhhhhhh

yeah, I think hes got everything. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> would I be able to order a few things at your price? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ask him if you can get a discount for ordering a large quantity. If you order at least 2 he'll likely give you some amount off.

I got most the stuff in now. I just need to tune it and run some more wires. I had some problems at first with what i thought was my crossover, but fortunately it turned out to be a bad rca. I switched it and it was fine. Now, I've got a problem with my left tweet. Its not the tweet so I've got to figure out what it is. lol. I had everything working well for about 15 minutes and was tuning it. It sounded awesome. the midbass was too much for fully deadened doors though. I need to get another set of rcas run to my sub amp so I can run my sub and cross my mids over a bit higher. I also need to decide where to mount my tweets. I may just have them indirect firing into the windshield as that sounded pretty good but then again it sounded good up in the door up where the side mirrors are. I need to decide how much work I want to do installing the tweeters as I think they'll sound best in the door but the install will be much harder.

Anyone have any first hand expr with the TC LMT?
the protos had around 48mm xmax and used a 3hp motor. The rl-s will have around 38mm xmax and use a 3hp motor. Oh, and they both utilize LMT! I almost forgot.
