  3. The hu was already installed. I didnt unplug anywires. I just pulled it out so I could run my rca's. I'll check back there anyways though because I might have knocked something out when pushing the hu back in.
  4. BAD NEWS My crossover is definitely bad. Left side of ch A goes in and out. At first I thought it was a bad set of rca's because when I replaced them it worked fine but after testing again it is definitely the crossover. I am really mad right now because this will set me back at least a week and probably even more
  5. I am going to try and make it. I might be playing in some national allstar tourney though. I'll just have to wait and see how things go, but I am hoping I can make it.
  6. I am really frustrated right now. For some reason, my interior lights would not go out. It was as if a door was open, but none were. I checked all of the door sensor things and they appeared fine. The only way I could get the lights to go out was to pull the fuse on them, so as of now I have no working interior lights.
  7. I think this pic sums my life up pretty well. got my beer, wheat thins, sub, and baseball.
  8. Pulled EVERYTHING out tody and started over. Time to do this right! I am still not finished, but I am close® My tweeters are still floating around the dash for the time being. I have plaid around with tweeter placement a little while driving the past week and have decided to place them somewhere in the door. I did not want to cut the door at all seeing as how I will be replacing this car in amonth or so, BU ti figure I'll just pick up a pair of NEXT comps to fill inany holes I make when iget rid of the car. Heres some more pics of everything. :redspot
  9. how's everything working for you (the crossover in particular)? I think I might have gotten a bad one because it is so incredibly touchy. One minute, the left ch won't work then I'll try everything I can to get it to work to no avail then it just randomly starts working again. Its got me fooled.
  10. older tl I believe
  11. sadly thats nowhere near as ghetto as my current set up I am getting so pucking frustrated with this damn coustic crossover. It is so pucking tempermental. One minte the left tweet doesnt work. I try everything for an hour. get pissed walk away from it come back, turn on the car and they both work. The same thing happened wearlier with the mids. I cant fudgein take it anymore. ahhhhhhhhhhhhh
  12. yeah, I think hes got everything. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> would I be able to order a few things at your price? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ask him if you can get a discount for ordering a large quantity. If you order at least 2 he'll likely give you some amount off.
  13. I got most the stuff in now. I just need to tune it and run some more wires. I had some problems at first with what i thought was my crossover, but fortunately it turned out to be a bad rca. I switched it and it was fine. Now, I've got a problem with my left tweet. Its not the tweet so I've got to figure out what it is. lol. I had everything working well for about 15 minutes and was tuning it. It sounded awesome. the midbass was too much for fully deadened doors though. I need to get another set of rcas run to my sub amp so I can run my sub and cross my mids over a bit higher. I also need to decide where to mount my tweets. I may just have them indirect firing into the windshield as that sounded pretty good but then again it sounded good up in the door up where the side mirrors are. I need to decide how much work I want to do installing the tweeters as I think they'll sound best in the door but the install will be much harder.
  14. yeah, I think hes got everything.
  15. the protos had around 48mm xmax and used a 3hp motor. The rl-s will have around 38mm xmax and use a 3hp motor. Oh, and they both utilize LMT! I almost forgot.
