I have a MD2D installed in my tundra running two SR12D4 woofers and i love it Yes its alot of power. I listen to rock and also am using a very small sealed (1.5 ft for two 12's) enclosure. With this much power I can get the kick drum to sound like I want. For rap and bass music its overkill but isn't that what we all want anyway. I would be hesitant to sell this setup to someone who doesn't actually listen to there stereo. You know the type those that are more interestedi n hearing it outside the car. But for me it gives alot of headroom. Also I have called the tech line at us amps many times and have always had all question answered. They alway gave good advice and were never rude.
  2. We became a US dealer 2 years ago and started with the us amps xt. They are now the RE version. I think the RE version looks better. It is shorter which means it goes under seats better. When we first started selling them the first thing I noticed was the fuse ratings, I figured being entry level they would most likely do about half what rated. I was wrong. They seem to put out close to rated power and are pretty clean doing it. The new version are more efficient on the input. I think they upped the fuse size on the 4000 but I can be 100% sure. Overall most of my customers have been very happy with them. We sell quite a few and so far have only had to send three back. We also sell Zapco, Kicker, Alpine, Planet and soon to be Treo. The XTs are as good as or better than the zapco I-force. They have plenty of balls are cheap and reliable.
  3. You final load on the bridged amps should be no lower than 2 ohm. The stereo amps should have no problem with 2 ohm stereo. Wire all your subs to 8 ohms and parrallel them all together. Hope this helps.
