Yeah, basically sounds like a pain in the ass,lol.... I thought there had to be a catch 22 to the situation, or everyone would be running these things, if thats all you had to do to get 16V,lol.... I'll be perfectly fine with 14.4V or so.... I'm not really looking to compete... basically just looking to pound the ground and demo.... I'll definitely do a few to see what I can sqeeze out of it on the TL... but I'm not looking for trophies or anything... as long as I have a nice powerful electrical and my amps are happy, then I'll be happy Thanks for the info sir..... and btw, I followed your build log, and I like what I see!!! good job.... bout to do a wall in my Integra, and I liked that I saw that your design is a lot like mine, just so you can get the air space you needed..... I was second guessing my design, till I saw you did it successfully.... I'm basically gonna have 2 different boxes together to make one, to roughly give each 18" Lvl 4 XL 6ft3 @ 32hz tune.... anywho, if you come through Atlanta sometime, let me know... I'd like to hear it in person.... Once again... awesome build!!!

thats what I was getting out of that battery's description... Cause it says you can run 16v without changing shit.... so what I got out of that, with the dual post and all, is exactly like you said... use the 12V post for cars electrical side, and the 16V, either run to your amp or to the other 16V post on the other batteries, then to your amp.... I TOO, would like to know if this is the case?? If it is, I think I know what I'll do for batteries.... do three of those, one in the front, and 2 in the rear... I didn't mean that in a perverted way either lol..... One of ya'll gotta know the deal-e-o... But I'm pretty sure thats the case, sir....

Anybody know anything about Powerbastards Fitzall 220+ alternators?
jrogoskiphotos replied to jrogoskiphotos's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / ElectricalI don't know what's up with that??? They must be doing pretty damn good, to not want customers?? haha hey, when you get those Kappa Perfect Components with a 100.4, let me know how they sound, cause thats EXACTLY what I'm getting for mids/highs.... curious to hear what you think about em mated up with the SAX-100.4.... Thanks

Anybody know anything about Powerbastards Fitzall 220+ alternators?
jrogoskiphotos replied to jrogoskiphotos's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / ElectricalOh, and here is the link to the Alternator itself , http://powerbastards.com/proddetail.asp?prod=Fitzall-220 , and a few pics.... the first pic is my stock alternator.... the last 2 are the Fitzall 220+..... you can see where it's pretty damn identical!!

Anybody know anything about Powerbastards Fitzall 220+ alternators?
I was looking at Powerbastard's alternators, and they don't have a direct fit for my 1991 Acura Integra....but.... they link me directly to the Fitzall 220+ Alt.... basically it's a universal HO alternator for imports..... I was looking at it, and the bottom foot doesn't look as deep as my stock unit (just looks like I need to get a shorter forged bolt from a hardware store), but other than that looks like it would mount up fine.... they say it's 110A @ idle and full 220A @ 1,200RPM's.... 220A is great, considering a 91 Integra alternator, stock, is 30A ,lol.... I was wondering if anyone has any good feedback on the powerbastards??? I know everyone is gonna shout Iraggi or Mechman alts, but for one, Iraggi wants like $700 for a 200A, and Mechman won't answer my emails... so f*#k em.... But Powerbastards seem to stand behind their product just fine.... They only want $300 / $350 powder coated..... It's not like it's an ebay alternator or anything.. they seem pretty good... Plus my options for a 1991 Integra aren't as great as your GM trucks and stuff, ya know? Anywho, I'm writing too damn much here.... I just wanna know if anyone has heard good things from powerbastards.... and don't tell me they're shit, just because you haven't heard of em, and Iraggi is the only Alt you know of.... fill me in on experience and/or someone you know who has experienced them..... Thanks guys!!! John Rogoski

Question about 2x 18" LVL 4 wall in Acura Integra
Good, cause when I went back and measured things out, I realized that I'm only gonna be able to put the port on the bottom,lol.... So that works out well!!! Yeah, I was wondering that, cause it only makes sense... Thats man, for the info!! John Rogoski

Question about 2x 18" LVL 4 wall in Acura Integra
I have a 91 Acura Integra, and I'm gonna throw 2x 18" XL's in there on a SAZ-3000D or a SAZ-3500D @ 1 ohm... Finally got the numbers together, and have an enclosure designed with interchangeable ports (one is 33hz and the other one is 37 hz.... I was only able to get so much airspace out of my integra, but came up with 12ft3 with the 33hz port and 13.24ft3 with the 37hz port.... and thats NET, after sub displacement, bracing displacement, and port displacement.... My question is this.... I'm new to the "wall" thing, but I'm definitely doing it....and I want to know if it matters if the port is on the top or on the bottom (behind my head or towards my lower back?)..... If there is a difference, where have ya'll found it to be more productive, as far as numbers go?? that is, if it even matters??? THANKS John

IA DP 15" vs Sundown SAZ-3500D???
haha.... damn, wish I lived in texas, or you lived in ATL.... I'd say bring the beer over and I'll drink with ya while we build this thing!!! lol .... I'll let ya'll know when I get started with this build.... I'll start a build log when I get it rolling, and keep everyone posted.... I think it'll be a fun project for sure. Cheers

IA DP 15" vs Sundown SAZ-3500D???
So, I decided to go a TOTALLY different route lol.... I decided to do 7x Incriminator Audio 187 12's..... I decide not to compete, due to the fact that things aren't a cheap as they used to be, back when I had my old skool Cerwin-Vega Stroker 18", lol..... So I'm gonna make the wall sealed, so it'll be tight and loud.... Basically it's gonna be for self pleasure.... plus I think squeezing 7 12's in an integra would be fun.... I'm gonna make the box 12-13 cubes, but I'll know for sure when I throw some numbers around.... Im gonna get all dual 4ohm coils and run em in series-parallel for a 1.143ohm load on a SAZ-3000D amp.... It'll give em roughly 400rms ea. I'm curious to hear how clean 7 12's will sound in a sealed enclosure!! probably sound pretty nice.... I wanted to do 8 to bring it to a solid 1 ohm, but I couldn't quite squeeze it in there.... 7 will do though... I heard the 187's are pretty damn solid for what they are, and the price is cheap as hell.... hell, if I fry one, it's only $110 for another one,lol.... So yeah, that's what I decided to go with.... I'm gonna stick to that.... Thanks for the info guys!!

IA DP 15" vs Sundown SAZ-3500D???
I think you are asking for trouble since you have stipulated that you want to compete and daily drive/ground pound with the setup. The DP is a helluva woofer, but 3500 watts RMS is pushing your luck. 1 amp on both subs would be more than sufficient. The DP's do not require that much power to rip your head off. If you keep with this plan, I would shrink the Net Vol to around 6 cubes so you can at least attempt to exercise some control over cone movement, otherwise you'll be getting recones in very short order. Ok, sweet... that's what I was wondering.... How you think it would hold up with 2x SAZ-2000D's? 2,000 rms shouldn't be too bad, right? Now, it's not like I'm gonna ride everywhere, just slammin' 15's to the back of my head at full volume,lol.... I personally like your 6 cube idea better ... It gives me more space to play with in my lil Teggy too.... I appreciate the info sir!!! Cheers

IA DP 15" vs Sundown SAZ-3500D???
Alright, so I'm gonna build a wall in my integra with 2x IA DP 15's and 2x Sundown SAZ-3500D's @ 1ohm.... My question is this.... How will the Death Penalties hold up vs. 3,500+ watts rms to each of em? The box for both subs, is gonna be 8.255 NET vol.(after speaker displacement, port displacement , and bracing displacement ..... the port is gonna be 125.375" of port and tuned to 32.60hz.... I'm just curious how these subs will hold up? I'm gonna compete, but I'm also gonna daily drive, ground pound.... let me know what you think, and if you have had experience with this combo of sub vs. power??? Preciate it!!! Cheers

RD Audio 18" Alpha V.2...?
yeah, trust me, its gonna be tight.... I first measured my available airspace w/o displacement.....then I got on my computer and calculated everything up, and I had just enough space... the box is actually gonna be shaped like a "T"... Im having to try to squeese some airspace out this car, but its gonna work.... Im obviously taking my backseats out too...... the box is gonna have 2 dif widths, one is gonna be 46" wide(where the back seats are now) and the other part of the box is gonna be 31" wide( in the hatch part), then its gonna be 24" high, and a total of 36" deep (15" deep in the hatch part and 21" deep in the back seat part) and the port is gonna be 29.5wx6hx20d.... im only using .75 " mdf except the top, the top will be 1.5" mdf ...... then im just gonna have a chit load of internal bracing (which I also calculated into the airspace) .... the box is gonna be subs up,port back....

RD Audio 18" Alpha V.2...?
Im bout to buy 2x 18" RD Audio Alpha V.2 subs from someone on here.... I was wondering if anyone knew the recommended airspace for each sub, and the best tuning frequency for these subs as well.... as of now, I have a box designed for both at 13 ft3 after port displacement and drivers and crap with a port space of 177 square inches and 20" long tuned to 34hz.... so basically im giving each sub around 6.5 ft3 tuned to 34hz ..... to me, this seems good, but I was wondering if anyone on here has played with these subs and if you could give me your opinion on the best box to run these things in? RDAudio.net doesn't have the box recommendations up yet... sooooo help please.... Im gonna be running a RD 3250.1D at 1ohm to em for now, until I get the RD Audio 18" Heavyweights and another RD 3250.1D.... then I'll be pushing 3000w rms to each Heavyweight 18" ..... so to add on to my box question, when I build this box for the Alpha V.2 18's, do you think the Alpha recommendations would be the same for the heavyweights as well? So basically, will the Alpha box work with the Heavyweights as well? Or will I have to build a new box for the heavyweights? Ok, im tired of asking questions.... I wish I could find the damn box recommendations for these subs

well im extremely happy for her,lol.... if you had a $5k dispasable set up, im guessin you got ripped off,lol.... like I said, im gonna have more up... and im not trying to make my penis any bigger... I just simply love photography..... its my stress reliever..... I could give you my equipment, but you have to know how to use it..... its not a point and shoot, and there is no automatic features.... you have to adjust the ISO,Shutter, and aperture yourself, and when you trying to capture that "moment" there is no room for fudgeups..... so, its not the equipment, its how you use it..... thats like saying your gonna buy a $5k guitar and be a badass guitarist.... I just buy high end chit , so I can have the resolution to blow the image up the size of my wall, crystal clear..... disposables won't even come close to the resolution my camera can spit out..... lets put it this way... each one of my photos files is equivalent to a whole music album you would burn..... serious data with my cameras.... and each one serves a diff purpose..... like I said, my penis is fine the way it is.... im not trying to impress no one with my "photos",lol..... that just sounds gay, hahaha

I <3 Nikon lenses. Their primes are still amazing Looks like you've got some softbox action going on there? Yeah, nikon has awesome glass technology on their lenses.... don't get me wrong, I respect Canon too.... They have awesome equipment, but I think Nikon is ahead, as far as glass goes.... But Canon is on top of their game as far as mechanically... But... Nikon is catching up in that aspect as well... so I think its fair game now.... but, Canon was always awesome for using a mechanical shutter in their bodies, resulting in faster slash sync... Thats always a plus for action flash photography (skateboarding for example)!!! ....as far as the softbox.... in these particular shots,nope... these are all speedflashes....one SB-600 and a couple of Sb-800'S... I usually bounce the lighting from the flashes, acting as a soft light.... I know a few tricks or two with those speedflashes... they are good flashes.... I even use em in the daytime, cause they add awesome depth to an image.... I like hard lighting on skate photos... adds a solid touch to the image... ...out of all the lenses I use/used, I still love my $100 Nikon standard 50mm f/1.8 portrait lens... amazing glass!!! I also like my 10.5mm nikon fisheye lens....its a fun lens..... like this
