best amp for 2 btl 18's

Two Dual 1's On A Sundown SAZ-3.5kd Sounds Nice. (1 Ohm Load @ 3500RMS, Actual Output Will Depend On Your Electrical, Which Will Be Higher Since The Rated Voltage Is 12.6v, If You Have A Stout Enough Electrical System.) Of Course I'm Running Only One SAZ-3.5kd To One BTL....For Now.

Definitely Not A Hifonics, Lol. I'd Get Two Sundown SAZ-1000D's, But That's Just Me.

a little problem with my subs

After Looking At Your Build Log, I See A Definite Reason, I Guess You Already Know What It Is By Now. Your Stock Headunit Could Play A Small Factor Here As Well. Instead Of Scrapping Your Box, You Could Plug The Port And Add Aero's To The Front. (Try To Cut Out The Side Piece Of The Port When You Do This.)

		help with sub...

I'd Say A 10" Icon Or Mach 5 IXL 10, Two Dcons Would Be A Great Option As Well. I've Owned Both The IXL And The Icon, Great SQ Reference Drivers That Can Get Loud.

		Kappa VS Reference

I Agree With Tirefryr On This One, When You Decide To Upgrade Though, Ditch The Rears And Find A Suitable Component Set For The Front (Or Two). Seeing As You Have A Basic Setup For Now, Just Go With The SS Line From Kicker.

It Should Be A Shit-ton Louder, But That Depends On You And Your Capabilities.

a little problem with my subs

Must've Been A Touch High In The Last Post. Double Check Your Amp, And Play With The Head Unit. It Could Even Be The Version Of The Song. Wiring Could Be A Factor Here Too. Oh, And That Guy Is Definitely Not Hitting 156.2db. lol. (Low Pass Wouldn't Have Anything To Do With This Problem.)

		Fi Btl Box

Really Need More Information. I Suppose This Is An 18" Judging By Box Size. You Need To Double Baffle The End Where The Woofer Will Be Mounted, I'd Probably Add Bracing In The Corners. 12-16sq. in. Of Port Area Per Cubic Feet, Tune Around 30hz-35hz. You'll Have To Calculate Your Dimensions To Determine Your Port. A 2X4 In The Middle As A Brace Wouldn't Hurt, Either.

Check Your Low Pass Filter At The Amp, Subwoofer Volume On The Head Unit And All That Good Stuff.

		HELP I AM A DUMBASS

One Way To Get The Dustcap Off Is To Just Smack It With A Hammer Or The End Of Something, (In The Middle.) Then Pulling It Off Around The CA Joint. Just Make Sure Not To Get Any Crap In The VC Gap. Or Just Do The Aforementioned that mbarber25 said, Just Don't Do It So Much That You Add Mass Or Deform The Dustcap.

nightshade 15s or fi bl 15s

BL motor is actually a shade stronger... Just a fyi. That's What I Was Thinking, The Nightshade Is Similar To The BL In Their Lineup. Don't Know How He Figured That It Was Similar To A BTL. (Just Like When Some People Thought The XCON Was A BTL Equivalent.)

Most musical with lots of output

...Wanna Bet? That's Your Opinion, I've Seen Many Sealed 10"s With Less/Around 1000 Watts With "Enough" Output. (It's The OP's Preference, He May Have A Different View On Output And Musicality.) You Could Also Make Your Posts More Constructive And Perhaps Be More Elaborate. I'd Probably Go With An IA Lethal Injection Here. The SSD And Arsenal Are Also A Very Good Choice, Can't Comment On The Treo's.

Very specific sub request... LOUD SQ WALL <$900 (shipped)?

I Think So Too. Not Only The Whole SQ Wall Phenomenon, But Having Two JL W7 10"s In 9 Cubic Feet And Having A Single XXX To Fill A Possible 14 Cubic Feet Of Usable Space. I'm Quite Confused Myself.

...What's Funny Is That I'm Actually Seeing People Telling Gmonk What/Who To Do/Listen To. You Still Got That Expedition Dude? Go For Whatever Man, It'd Be Cool And Funny As Hell To See You Run Like 16 E8's Or Something With Passive Radiators. (I've Been Promoting Those Alot Lately...)

		crx

Yeah, I Think It's A Banned Vehicle In Certain Classes Now, I Have The Chance To Buy One For $650, I Might Just Have To For My IA Warden Build Soon. (Typical Tuner CRX, But The Motor Is Actually A Decent B18 Out Of A 'Teg That Makes 215 Hp Naturally Aspirated, It'd Be Funny To See My Big Redneck Ass In That Little Car.)

Very specific sub request... LOUD SQ WALL <$900 (shipped)?

Thanks! I didn't find them on their website. But 8 x 8"s are actually around 1600cm^2. Wow, that's two 15's. Never though about that. Will keep it in mind! They Should Be On This Site, Either That Or They Don't Make Them Anymore.

		Which shallow subs to get?

Well, Just Remember That There Is A Gain Knob On The Amp, You Don't Have To Run Full Power. The RL-i's And IXL Are Great Options, Sadly, I Haven't Heard A BM, So I Can't Comment There. I Have Ran More Than 250 Watts To An E8 And Never Had A Problem, But Sean Is Right, Especially In Your Case, Headroom Is A Good Thing.

Very specific sub request... LOUD SQ WALL <$900 (shipped)?

You Could Be Different And Run About 8 Sundown E8's (I Realize Obtaining Them May Be An Issue), But That's Just My Opinion. SQ And Wall Don't Really Go Together, But I Kinda Get What You Mean.
