Both are rated at 1200w at 1 ohm. I doubt you'll notice a different with 300 extra watts even if you went to up 1500w. I'd say just stick with what you have.

I'm sure this has come up before, but I searched and didn't find anything. I'm designing my box to have 1.3cuft per speaker. What would change if I moved it up to 1.4 or 1.5? would it make much of a difference? Also while I'm here, for the BP power, the website says it "increase power handling from 200-500 Watts depending on the application. 
". In this application, being 1.3cuft sealed, would I be okay giving them 1300w? Thanks for any help.

Pretty easy man just ring terminals with 1/4 brass bolts and some nuts. Fairly simple and makes for a clean install and a reliable connection. I'm guessing you just drilled the hole and dropped them in there? I want to do it the same way but I'm worried about air leaking.

Yeah it does, I wouldn't be able to turn the box around or anything. I suppose maybe I could make/buy a cheap dummy box or something.

Well first off it's going to be a sealed box. It's not going to be an SPL vehicle, but I want something that it loud but has a tight bass response, which is why I'm going for sealed. I don't care about sure SQ, but it is something I'm thinking about.

Yeah I was considering that too. I just love the idea of being able to pull the seats down and see the subs. Would the fact that it's a hatchback (01 Celica) affect anything at all?

I'm thinking about a having a box with the subs facing inside the car right behind the rear seats. I'm a bit worried though that the subs might hit the seats if it's not far enough. Any idea what would be a good distance? The subs are 12" Qs.

There are a couple of sealed videos of the Qs on youtube but I'm looking for more if possible. I particularly want to hear what 2 12s sound like sealed. Thanks a lot if anyone can help

Looking for some opinions as to how these are. How do they sound? How is the bass? It would either be these or the Morel Tempo 6s (both active). I like the XXXs because I've heard that the bass is good and I'm looking for a front stage with good bass as I won't have subs for a while. Thanks for any input

I'm look at this amp to buy and I'm a bit skeptical because it's pretty cheap (relatively). I have done a search on here and seen some opinions but there are few and contradicting and most are from the beginning of the year so I'm hoping for some other opinions from people who have had one for a while. I'd be planning to push 2 12" Qs. Also perhaps some other recommendations of amps capable of doing 2kw at 1 ohm.

Yeah I searched around a bit more on google and I'm guessing you heard that from people who have an enclosure designed with the sub to have the magnet inside the box and when the switched it due to the freeing up of volume (since obviously there isn't a sub inside the box anymore) it messed some thing up a bit. I plan on making the box 2-2.6cuft with the sub outside. The question is where I should aim for in the 2-2.6 spectrum. And also the 1 15" v 2 12"s. The setup is going in a hatchback. I'm actually starting to think the 2 12s.

Another thing I was thinking about is would 2 12s be louder? Or going with a different brand entirely?
