    welcome!
  2. All I ask is that you guys please post confirmation of your attendance. IF you are ABSOLUTELY, beyond the shadow of a doubt, coming, please post here, or PM me. It does me no good to see, "oh I might be coming if....." Y'all feel me? I need to get an idea of how many people are showing up so I can reserve the parking spots
  3. Its properly spelled Verdana...... And x2 on the noise thing. You don't have to overcome all that road/engine noise and vibration, so there is no need to run more power. Watts aren't everything
  4. $20 sounds like too much..... What it cost me: SPDT Relay - $4.00 40 ft. 12awg Primary wire - $6.00 TOTAL: $10.00 Thats what you get for shopping at Radio Shack.
  5. definitely.... if any one needs help bring your "work-in-progress" and we'll help you out.
  6. Yea, depending on my driving position, I just get tired of not having the armrest...

    Hmmm..... somebody got
  8. been real slow around here today....anyways, a few updates for those who care... I've made some progress on the regal in the last few days, installed and routed most all of the cables; IP-Bus, digital optical, ran some 14ga. primary wires (to the trunk to run the relay, the DEQ-P9, and the power antenna), speaker wire is done on the right side. Just my luck, I bought 100ft of esoteric speaker wire, thinking it would be enough....well of course I ended up not having enough. Thankfully, another 100ft is on its way courtesy of (ebay seller) "trucktunes". I also layed down another layer of glass on the rear half of the doorpods. I think I will do one more layer, since they are starting to get pretty beefy. I'm getting tired of driving around with no doorpanels. Hopefully, I find some time Friday to make some real progress on these doorpods. I still have to aim them with dowelling, then strectch fleece and glass over the front half. I still don't know how I'm going to finish them, I'm still waiting on some suggestions. After the doorpods, I'll get started on installing and mounting the amplifiers. I'll get my Rl-Ps in about a week or two, and hopefully we'l be in business by the 25th (the meet). I went to the park office, and they were more than happy to let me use their facility, free of charge. I just have to go early and get the parking spots I want..

  14. OK folks. It is with my great pleasure that I announce the OFFICIAL date of the TeamSSAudio.com/CarAudio.com West Coast "Meet". The meet will be held on Saturday, June 25th at Central Park in Santa Clarita, CA. Hosted by yours truly, this will be one of the more laid-back, and carefree events you may attend this summer. This is really just a chance for all of use forum nerds to hang out and share our interest in car audio. This is an open invitation to all TeamSSAudio.com members. This location (Central Park) is well suited for an event like this because of its ample parking, facilities, and its proximity to local restaurants, businesses, etc. Central Park is also near the Six Flags Magic Mountain amusement park. Should you so choose to go there after the meet ends. We will be breaking for lunch after everyone has finally shown up, intoroduced themselves to eachother, etc. We will then regroup, and pretty much just hang out indefinitely. This event is strictly non-competition, and is a great chance for all of us forum geeks to hang out, shoot the breeze, talk some car audio, and give some system tours in a positive environment. We will probably be blowing up quite a few components. There will also be digital video and still cameras available so that if you so choose, we can shoot your excursion videos. To RSVP, simply leave a post here if you will be attending. Coming from the South, Central Park in Santa Clarita, CA is just North of the San Fernando Valley. If you are travelling the I-5 North, get off on the Valencia Boulevard exit, make a left onto Bouquet Canyon, follow Bouquet Cyn North for about 2 miles, and make a right turn into Cantral Park. Click here to view a map (zoom out to find you way there, or enter your address to get directions)
  15. Chipotle is QUITE a drive from where the meet is at. There are TONS of other restaurants around town to choose from. I'm sure we can all live without Chipotle for one day
  16. six flags.....it costs $25 to get in (if you have the coupon), and saturday afternoon is the absolute WORST time to go. The lines are at least an hour long for every ride.... it aint all that.
  17. Not including myself, as far as I know these are who have "semi-commited" to coming: eric77 (Eric) dennisp (Dennis) Acidburn (Tom) "maybe": johnecon2001 ighettoboi (Joe) (ca.com) boister77 (ca.com)
  18. ok. i have some ideas im throwing around... im trying to keep the options as low-cost as possible.i really wish i knew someone with a meter, but im pretty sure we'd get thrown out of the park for that kind of thing....
  19. hey dennis. i was thinking about activities we could do at the meet, since i really dont have anything in specific planned.... wanna give me some ideas?
