Wow they are cheap priced are they really that good ? For the money, they are awesome. If you are competing though you will find out that install is going to be far more important than the actual gear you use. Take a look here : www.zaphaudio.com for some comparisons and "reviews" of popular 6-7 inch drivers. Cool deal, working on the install with a friend that has competed quite a while 15 years or so

I need a midrange with good midbass, its and 2 way active set up. I can only use 1 single woofer in the door, do to the class I want to compete in.

I am looking for a 6.5" midrange/midbass set , I have about a 250 dollar budget. I am using the sony amp in signature but will be switching to a Massive audio 100.4 late on. Thanks for suggestions

Might try you a different source, if you can temp try a different head unit or line converter. Also might check to see if any of the speaker wires are grounding out or touching.

If you had an enclosure for 2 12" subs with 2.2 cubes ea, with individual airspaces could u build a common port to split between the 2? or if you had a common port area would the enclosure have to have a common airspace for the subs as well?
