actually thats comparable to the kv which is basically a idv3 with woven tinsel leads and some cosmetic differences.

more power is fine, i think my subs will enjoy it.

i just wanted to make sure it had the proper fuses in it before hooking it up. probably won't get to it today because we're finishing up a Ram install but i'll try and give a review soon.

I just got the amp in off UPS. I have a couple concerns, the manual states 1000w @ 1ohm which is fine but i thought it only had 800. Second the manual also states fusing at 20x3 but mine has 25x3. I'll test the power with a DMM to see what we're really getting once its hooked up and i have to say again that i love the cosmetics of this amp.

should be here today, hopefully will have a review tomorrow at the latest although it will only be running @ 2ohm until my new box is finished.

Hate to get too off topic on your first day but heres a pic, its an 05, the doors on these are shallow and oddly shaped from what i've seen. the rest of the system would be usamps xterminator xt800.2 and xt2000d on 2 ascendant audio arsenal 10's. i have the subs here and the sub amp will be here tomorrow. t

Just ordered a new XT2000d from flakko for a pair of ascendant audio arsenal 10's i have on the way. i love the no bs looks of the xterminator, huge step up from the heatsink on the is imo.

3 of those single 6 8's sounds like a nice combo.

I've run the ed's before and they are solid and seem to be a great value. Looking at the IS 2080 for front comps and the 2200 for subs or the ed nine.2 and nine.2x. What do you guys think? The setup will be CDT EF 61 Neo comps up front and 2 10's sealed but not sure which ones.

How are the rl-8's coming?

I just scored one of these on ebay for $70 shipped. It was a store display model. Did i get a decent deal? Also if anybody has any info or box specs they can give me i'd appreciate it.

Yeah the box is done and i have everything here but i've been working over 60hrs a week and haven't had time to get it installed. I've got inventory on the 22nd of this month but after that i should have some free time to get it done. Btw Kent does awesome work and i would definitely recommend him for the novices with boxbuilding like myself.

Well i've got Kent building a box thats 1.5ft with around a 32hz tuning. I'll try and give a review in about a week or so when i get everything installed.

I just got a new eclipse SW8102DVC alum and i want to get a ported box for it. I used a calculator on another forum and got 1.93ft @26 hz. This can't be right. Eclipse tech support told me 1.75 @40hz. If anybody has any experience with these, please help!!!
