1 12" RL-p sealed 1.5 cuft or 2 12's in .70 cuft
I'd agree. I had one of the rl-p's in a .9ft gross box and it sounded great but output was lacking. I got another box which is about 1.3 and its a lot better. I'm gonna put 2 rl-p 12's behind the seat of my Ram off 1500-2000w.

15" RL-P or 15" Avalanche
I am waiting for an avalanche but aa is having some delays on ths subs so it will probably be at least 2 more weeks before the subs start shipping. If it means anything to you i've decided to get another rl-p and run a pair and the avalanche will either go on the shelf or be sold when i get it.

RL-p Vs IDmax
I've had both and while my time with the rl-p has been more limited than my time with the IDMax i would have to say for pure sq i prefer the rl-p. It's very easy on the ears and while it will gt loud it never causes strain on your ears by listening to it.

can the rl-p be reconed?
I'll run it like this until my avalanche comes in because it still sounds ok after the repair i did. the rl-p did not like the .9ft box at all so i put it in a 1.25 box and its much better. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> how was it acting? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It sounded good but the output was lacking. I'm really surprised how much of a difference i i got in output by adding just a few tenths of a ft or airspace. It really handles the low freqs nice now compared to them being almost nonexistant in the smaller box. I had acousta-stuf in the smaller box which helped but the added airspace is much better. and i don't know what they're able to do for my damaged sub but i need a new cone and surround for mine. /rant.

can the rl-p be reconed?
My rl-p which i got wednesday has suffered a nice wound to the cone and surround thanks to a friend that was mounting it in the box while i wired some stuff. I don't want to make him pay for a new sub but he will if he has to. Any help is appreciated.

Almost there
the diamond makes its power at 1 ohm while the kicker makes its at 2 ohm.

Looks great. Mine is scheduled to be here tomorrow and i can't wait to get it hooked up. Do you guys think i should break it in with about 400w before i send it the 1100w i've got planned for it?

12" rl-p vs 12" avalanche (specs only)
Mike did get back to me extremely quickly but i talked to chad on the phone, too. Oh well i've got both subs ordered and i just picked up a almost new eclipse aluminum to hold me off until they arrive.

12" rl-p vs 12" avalanche (specs only)
I've got both ordered and appearence isn't a factor in my install only performance. Whichever performs better i'll keep and i'll probably keep the other, too.

12" rl-p vs 12" avalanche (specs only)
I went ahead and ordered the avalanche, too. I'll use whichever sounds better to me and i have a feeling i won't have any trouble selling one of them if it comes down to it.

12" rl-p vs 12" avalanche (specs only)
heres a link to the avalanche specs. I've already ordered a rl-p d2 on the group buy but i may pick up the avalanche, too if its not a very simliar sub. http://forum.soundillusions.net/showthread.php?t=50318 the box will be small sealed and if somebody could tell me which is most optimal i would appreciate it.
