Steve, I just bought me an '06 Pontiac G6, Its a damn nice car. The stock system is actually much better than i thought it would be. Pretty quick and gets pretty good gas mileage. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a newer car. Sort of asinine to praise a cars stock system on here, perhaps you should be happy with other things on the car and like it for that since the stock electronics are going in the garage if you come here simply stating i was impressed with the stock system. wasnt praising it as you say. It has been quite some time since i've ran across a decent stock system. oooooo, so we have "pretty quick" and "pretty good gas mileage" from that description I am SURELY going to run right out and buy one. mediocrity at its finest...

New G8 GXP will have the LS3, maybe the new Camaro as well

Back in the day, NASCAR raced stock cars. well, the teams did modify them, but they were very similar to what could be purchased from a dealership in fact, the manufacturers had to sell a certain number of the cars so that they would be allowed to race the "race on sunday, sell on monday" philosophy at its finest

Bah, crowd safety...take the restrictor plates off and watch things get interesting again... safety breeds pussies stock vehicles from manufactures, must sell at least 500 units to be legal for racing, only minimal mods allowed, stock block, transmission, and rear end required

Just awesome how the race cars don't share one single part with the production cars they're named after No American Stock Cars Are Racing They should bring back the rule about having to sell them as a requirement to race them. Absolutely.
