  6. LSQ still has all the features of SQ, just louder, it still has a properly set up front stage, and a sub that blends with the front and is not overbearing if you're looking for louder in the sub-bass regions with a decent sounding front, that's another thing entirely, and easily acomplishable well I want to accomplish that then. Sorry I am new to all of this. So where should I start looking? What I recommend for a system like that: decent HU 2 channel amp for components up front whatever sub stage you like with a matching amp and any sound deadening will also make improvements any of the sub set ups listed so far will easily accomplish the sub portion of this system, it just depends how loud you want it to be my 2 sealed 8s are enough for me, but there are people here running 4 ported 12s, how much do you want?

  8. what features are you looking for in a HU? if you're system consists of nothing but a HU/amp/sub, then why bother upgrading?

  14. Not fully settled, too much travel. I have lived here since Dec 7th but only slept here 15 times or so. I need to place an order for more remote lights and a few other things, but getting close. At least I am moved into the garage! Good to as I had to whack out a few enclosures to test the IXL in. Most important room in the house
  15. Maybe I am dating myself, but when I was in 9th grade, I first heard Primus. A classmate explained the Primus sucks sticker he had and the meaning behind it. I still have a Frizzle Fry shirt that i bought a month or so after the album was released. ok, I know who Primus is, but I guess I'm just too young to get these references
  16. 4ga should be ok then, just keep 'em short you don't have to put fuses there, if the distro is somewhat close to the amps
  17. That would easily overpower anything but the most extreme front stages
  18. I saw the one in "europe" on the news They found the driver and arrested him because he endagered the life of the passengers in the bus good, that was some seriously stupid shit to be doing on a busy road
  19. looks good if the amps are some what powerful, it'd be good to ground them with 1/0 as well
  20. Exactly, give me solid state and a CD or DVD Audio or SACD and I'm set. vinyl and vacuum tubes FTW
