Ya i was thinking about going active but im not sure how great of speakers i can get to fit my budget. The RSDs i should be able to get for less then $100 shipped. My budget if i went active would probably go up to $150, which im not sure is enough to give a large difference in sq compared to the RSDs. I also am going to keep these in the stock locations, so that might be another thing to consider. I'd bet you could blow away the PGs with a $150 active set up

Absolutely. You've taken physics Ryan. A better tire will have a higher coefficient of friction which means it will stay put through more forces. There are other advantages as well such as sidewall stiffness.
