  3. lol, lil furry pucker got owned
  4. Tom, tom, tom. Its almost midnight, and that would involve getting off my lazy ass, finding shoes again, going out to the back door, unlocking it, and taking a photo. *goes to find shoes*
  5. I know, I was leaning towards a weak rear end, as found in the ls1 cars... things like that. I know the t56 is bullet proof, but was looking for little things I should plan on fixing as soon as I get the car. if it has any real amount of miles on it, do opti, water pump, plugs, wires, and headers all at the same time, makes the job much easier
  6. look like good projects
  7. at 100K they need a new optispark and waterpump because when the water pump goes it barfs coolant on the opti and kills it lol no big reliability problems, but they can be a huge pain in the ass to work on (see above) it's also a huge pain to drop the gas tanks in them I am not worried about difficulty maintaining. Was just making sure that if I bought one it wasn't going to die on me in a week. I have always wanted an ls1, but with school and all I think an lt1 would suit my finances better. Not to mention cheaper insurance etc... Head/Cam, headers, true dual exhaust, stainless brake lines, ebc pads etc... Nitto 555 fronts and 555r's for the rear are already on the list. As well as a new water pump and optispark, and a nice juicy h/o alt as well. should be quite fun
  8. i've been thinking abouut picking this up: http://www.tubeaudio.com/page23.html

  12. crap one of my favorite Windows95 games doesn't work on this computer
  13. yeah I tired turning it... When you look under the sub, the hole in the surround matches the basket hole, but when you go to the top there's no hole. I guess I'll try poking through it and see if it gives. I just didn't wanna screw the driver up... thanks for the replies -John wait, so the basket and surround holes line up, but the gasket holes don't? if that's the case turn the gasket, don't poke holes in it
  14. do you mean the holes in the gasket don't line up with the holes in the basket or the holes in the basket are covered by the part of the surround that is glued to the basket? if it's just that part of the surround covering the holes, just poke a hole in it i've always used coarse drywall screws
  15. yeah it was waiting for me when I got home from the coast -John sweet! make sure to post up a review
