That laptop isn't so old, I have one older Dell Latitude XPi...first one in the series I think. Running Win95, indirect lightning strike took out the battery's internal regulator but it still runs off of AC power. I've abused it over the years, and it just won't die... my dad has a laptop thats hard drive is a floppy disk
