can all tube amps run a short or no? Not all can, the Zen was bass-ackwards in that it liked lower impedances - most tube amps actually favor higher impedances like 8 or 16 ohms. The Zen would love 2 or 4 ohm loads, just the way the output transformers were wound. good to know, good to know
