So I open up my garage door this morning and find some jackass has parked their car on the street about 3-4 feet in front of my drive way directly behind where I need to pull the Impala out. I'm already running late so I just wiggle the Imp past and head to class. When I get home, the fucking thing is still there. It's this '03ish Civic that looks like it's been in several fender benders. As I'm standing in my garage deciding if I should start fucking with it, this little Asian girl comes out of the house across the street, apologizes, offers me a cigarette, and drives off. Is it just me or is offering a cigarette in that situation just totally odd?

I dunno though I just don't see the truck looking that good with those fender flares on stock lift. But I might have discovered tonight that the flares can be removed ( I think there glued along the seem of the top) But I know you always will make compromises. Point In Case - I will add a 25lb Icon with a ported box, 2 (eventually 3) Amps, and loads of deadener. Plans are for a tool box, air compressor, train horns, extra battery (if needed) and HO alt (if needed). So I'm already killing myself with weight in that department. I also plan to keep the 5.3 backed with the 4L60e. If I REALLY wanted to get serious and not care about gas mileage a 6.0L or 408 would be going in, backed by a 4L80e no questions asked. So yes power/speed is important, but so is a bad ass truck with functionality as well as speed. When I want to be faster I'll buy a 2000 Camaro/Trans Am call up my buddy Jared and say lets make it happen and be running 11.5 1/4's and 1.5x 60's on Cam Alright, do whatever you want, just wanted to make sure you have realized and accepted the sacrifices of a mixed-use vehicle.
