  1. The most important thing is not to starve yourself. Some people feel that is the only way to lose weight but it is awful for your body to go through that, its really really bad. Because your body starts to break down lean muscle as well as fat. Food = Fuel Drink allot of water, I was raised on sweet tea my whole life and sad to say I was addicted to it. Go for a gallon of water a day, when your urine is clear or very light yellow your doing good. Try and workout when possible, cardiovascular stuff is better for when your trying to lose the pounds. Even if its only a jog around the block every little bit helps. Fruits and veggies are really important, they are the healthiest snacks you could eat. Try and get in at least 2 fruits a day, and a 2 sides of veggies a day along with your meat staples like baked chicken, tuna, oven roasted turkey etc. And its okay to have a cheat day every now and then to satisfy your junk food craving just don't do it all the time.
  2. So I was bumping my ssd yesterday on my home stereo receiver and I cranked it up a little bit to let the sub move a little bit. I realized it was making noise and immediately turned it down. The noise was like a vibrating slap, its kinda hard to describe. The slap was only audible on certain frequencies. I was probably putting a good 100 or so watts to it and I guess my receiver started clipping it. Will clipping make your sub make a noise? If its not that I was thinking maybe bottoming out? I don't really know whats causing it but I'm hesitant to put it on 800 watts.
  3. I'm in the same boat except I have a little more cone area. A SSD 15" First build and I'm hoping my sub gets down on 1k, lol edit: I'm sure that SX will sound good, if I didn't get the SSD the SX was one of my other options.
  4. Eh that's what I was thinking. I'm sure I can find a good deal on ebay.
  5. Sorry I ask so many question, lol I'm still learning ALLOT. I'm slowly piecing all of my equipment together and next on the list is a 4 channel amp. Want to keep it in the $100 range. Needs to power (2) 4" Coax, (2) 6 1/2" Coax. Looking for a clean 40-60 rms per channel.
  6. ShaneSauce replied to pear_b's topic in Fi Products
There is a thread on it in the Fi section. Or maybe that's something completely different idk..
  7. Gorilla Zoe - Juice Box Low low bassline throughout the wholeeeeeee song
  8. I really like the southern rap, it has a good vibe to it. Just some stuff I have been listening to. Trae Three 6 Mafia (old stuff) Lil Wyte David Banner Mike Jones Paul Wall etc...
  9. I got it installed! But its just sitting behind the trim panel, there is nothing holding it in place. There is nowhere to screw it down or anything. But now there is a giant gap. I need a dash kit, I'm gonna go pick one up at walmart. Will this fix my problem?
  10. But I don't have a solder. I'm thinking about shredding some of the rubber off around the wire and just twisting them together and taping them.
  11. It did I just found it. How should I install it? I have never done this before and there are allot of colored wires.
  12. My head unit didn't come with a plug I don't believe... Let me go check the box. edit: ahhhh I forgot I put the plug on my entertainment center. So can I just electrical tape the wires together? color to color?
  13. I have a new kenwood head unit I'm trying to install. I bought the scosche wiring harness for my toyota tercel at walmart. I ran into a problem, none of the connections on the wiring harness fit into the back of my kenwood cd player. I'm a noob when it comes to this so help me out? Here are some pictures showing the backs of both head units and the factory wires and the scosche wiring harness. The wires that went into the back of the stock head unit The back of the stock one, see the place to insert the plug? My kenwood doesn't have that There is only one place that looks like a harness would go there, but none of them fit Here is the wiring harness IDK WHAT IM DOINGGGGGGGG
  14. Good god. Next build you can be damn sure at least 1 22" is going in the back. At least whenever I can get a bigger vehicle... :bigclap: :bigclap: :bigclap:
  15. Alright I understand now.
  16. Not trying to thread jack or anything. But components only need a 2 channel amp right? So if the amp puts out 2x100rms @ 2ohms would each mid and tweet be seeing 50 rms?
  17. So the 22" is in the works? And is it for home theater? Or for car audio? Also I would like to see the "production lines" like where all the subs are glued together and everything.
  18. I'm just wondering but someone reply on the 1st page said it puts out dirty power. What makes it put out dirty power?
  19. I personally want to hear these songs. Gorilla Zoe - Juice Box T.I - Ready For Whatever Trae - In The Hood (Chopped & Screwed)
  20. Well all I did was use the 3D flash box program over at RE audio. And my box turned out perfect!
  21. I'm hoping to break a 135 or so with my SSD. Maybe it will be loud to some people. The first person I want to see react is my mom, hopefully I can make her get out of the car because she always annoys me while I'm driving.
  22. Well you will have no problem at all with room. Go for 4.5 cubes @ 30hz to get a low low boom.
  23. Well there is a problem with running them off of one amp. You already have a D2 sub, if you get another D2 sub you have to run them on a 2ohm load I believe. It would be simpler in my opinion, your going to be adding a amp. You won't have to deal with taking the other one out.
