Soon im doing a blowthrough in my 97' single cab s10. I need an opinion on an amp to go with the 18" Fi car audio btl. I was thinking of the rockford fosgate t20001bd. I have no idea what amp and how to wire it right to get the right power to the sub. With that amp i would wire it at 1 ohm. is that the best way to go. I know if i wire it up at 4ohm i need alot bigger amp... any suggustions.

Im not too worried about the blowthough because im a welder with lots of skill. If it goes wrong i can weld it back together. The vehicle is a 97 s10 so if i have a hole in it the most i can lose is like 2 grand.

yeah very true. Im planning on bolting it in and putting one of those metal tonneau deals that lock. If they do end up stealing it im only out the box and sub. But i now made up my mind on the blowthough and make a center counsel fot the two tens so i can at least have a cup holder. Anyone have any pictures of an custom console with sub or subs in it? I plan on posting my project on this tread when im done. I look forward to having the loudest single cab in michigan lol it should be tight!!!

Im getting racing bucket seats soon... Currently i have a bench im planning on building a custom console to dock my ipod and hold my drinks. Im planning on getting tint done too. Anyone know how much a tint ticket is?

If i where to do a blow through i would use a 18" btl like this guy did http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/l...php/t19967.html I am good with my hands and im sure i can get the job done right but its not going to be able to be reversed. has anyone ever seen a blow through done? Have they gone completly wrong? I have absolutely no idea how it would sound. Any help???!!!! Im getting a Rockford Fosgate T40001BD for that subwoofer if i go this route. Everyone asking so i just want really loud and accurate bass. Im very tall so behind the seats subs are completely out of the question. I have a few buddies that have the fi audio subwoofers and i love them and i want to get one also. Any other ideas before i cut the hole?

I have a 97' s10 single cab and i want to put a 10" or 12" Fi Bl series sub but dont have enough room behind the seat without eating my legs. Should i do a blow though where i put the box in the truck box?

I have the 12 inch bl and you wont be regreting it. Its very power hungery though you may need to upgrade amp. I have the rockford fosgate t40001bd which is 1500 rms at 4ohm. My sub is fully loaded though. never had any problems.

Why wouldnt you recommend a blow through?

The subs i currently have are shallow mounts which are like 4 inchs. they dont get loud but are a upgrade to just the alpine 4x6's and 6 1/2's i currently have. I want something that when even an experienced spl nut or anyone who is into systems to say holy S**t! And i have a liking to the Fi products and want an upgrade. Btw the subs are 400 rms 4 ohm

Currently I have two ma audio 10" HK1001F and a 4 channel M500XE MA Audio amplifier. Is a blow through where you cut the cab and put the box in the truck bed? The current system is ok but it doesnt satisfy at all.

You think that would fit. Because i have 2 MA Audio 10" shallow's and those barley fit? What box would i be able to use?

Hey, I need your help with my single cab s10. I want a very loud system but have very limited space to do so. The ride is a 97' Single Cab S10. Its got a bench seat which i plan on putting some leather racing bucket seats so hopefully that'll save some room. I need suggustions!!! I hope to install one or two Fi Btl, or Bl series subwoofers. fyi
