I don't understand what you mean by "run 2-way active" I have done the front doors only till now. what is "IB configuration"? Active speakers refers to not using the typical passive crossover in off the shelf component speakers. You instead use a crossever before the amplification and then send one amp channel to each speaker. IB is Infinite Baffle. Usually requiring less power but using your entire trunk as the enclosure. you mean to go to active crossovers? please where can I find schema for the connection and what crossover do you recommend? I think I need to do some researches for the enclosure , I found that IB itself has sub-types. Sorry for too many questions

I totally agree installation may make the system perfect or damn bad. while surfing I found Zapco Symbilink , seems perfect I don't know it deserves or not, what do you think?

I'm thinking about installing component speakers , still looking a good one. But as a beginner of SQ I want to know what specs I should look for? E.G freqs range , amp THD , etc. On the other hand having a car PC made me think about 5.1 system , I 'm thinking about having 2 component sets for front and rear and a sub as you recommended. but If the car PC will not give me the quality I 'm looking for I'll just connect the sound card to the HU AUX.

Rear - Infinity Reference 9613i 6"x9" 3-way car speakers Front - Infinity Kappa 63.7i 6-1/2" 3-way car speakers Amp - JBL CS60.4 4 Ch 240 Watt Full Range Amplifier what do I need to add/change to have SQ system? thanks
