yp it is a particle board 25mm (over 1") ...and a lot of screws and glue .... and in the sealed box there was not so much excursion (it was kinda small for a XXX) as in the ported one .... but there is one more thing ...in the ported box the sub is up ...in the sealed there is sideways .... a buddys XXX 15 is sideways and there is also slap shit ..but not so noticeable

so i put the XXX ina buddys ported box ....and no slap ...wtf....

i know that ....a buddy here has a XXX 15 .....yp u can hear the leads slap ...but not so much and he has 3kW + on the sub ... i will look into it today and try to set the leads lower and its goin to go in a ported box ... or i will just have to change the tinsels with softer ones

old DP12 ...i loved it when i had it in my car ........

so i throw the XXX 18 ina 4.5cubes sealed box ...it sounds good and great but i have this slapin noise from the sub when i turn it up .....so it must be the tinsel leads is there any way to fix this or did i just soldered them to high ....

my next box is gona be tuned to 38Hz ....now its 31Hz and its to LOWWWW ,cause i listen to a lot of electronic music my first mistake there (box to big and tuned to low) ..ok ...it moved air,but thats about it
