  1. 35-40 is pretty dang low tuning for a 4th order.....idf rather see it @ 46 or so. Well you are prob. right, it will prob. still respond very well down to 40 atleast. wouldnt ya think. the malibu i built in a 4th order for 4 DP 15's responds very strong down in the high 20's,low 30's tuned to 47-48 HZ so i would indeed think so. 4th order isnt like a ported when it comes to playing under tuning. (that being said my box while tuned at 31, plays music down to the low 20's very strongly. 23 HZ at 150.9 with the door open. on the dash.

  3. noooo thats too much voltage you want to keep it in the mid 14's
  4. True when i recieved mine, i put a voltmeter on it, and it read 12.9 so i figured i could put my charger on it on a 2A rickle charge. 5 minutes later it was reading 14.9 it was already funny charged.
  5. and you were right on.
  6. something like what?
  7. nope. i generally dont drop below 12.8....after i charged the batteries on a 2A trickle for a couple days, it is steady playing full tile at 13.1 lowest ive ever dropped is 12.2, and thats after killing it all day.
  8. OH MY GOD!!! That's probably the most flex I've ever seen, and you do it with only 2 18's! Do you have a build log on here or anything? I'd like to know what electrical upgrades you have. stock alt/batt up front and 6 walmart everstart maxx batteries. got em for 10 bucks/per
  9. thats pretty much what i posted on youtube and a few other sites.

  11. but amps and batteries in the passenger seat. now as far as the bracing. you think welding strips going from side to side, then thicker tubing along the strips fron front to back would have been better? hmmmmmm i plan to cover it when something once im all set and done.
  12. i have no idea just a regular Mig welder with the rod that comes out of the tube when the trigger is pressed. plugs into standard 120v
  13. I heard these things were bad ass.
  14. or so we thought it still moves about the same as before, and the number dropped a couple tenths, while the peak frequency went from 35 to 37
  15. I can attest to that....doubling power and gaining a couple tenths. happened to me.
  16. i have a--ia 20.1- and have sent it to -DB- to have it fixed 3 times and every time i get it back it works for like 2to3 weeks and takes a shit on me i am runing it at -1ohm- on 4=10''subs--i have a 300amp alt and 2--kinetik 2400 batts so i dont think it is the volts droping i keep like 15.3//14.8 at all time so i have to say the amp is -JUNK= You are the first person that i have read saying such a thing.... I had an old one burn up on me, and after it was repaired, it ran like a tank until i sold it, and fedex destroyed it. I ran mine down to .25 ohm and 9.2 volts before without a problem. not saying that yours didnt burn up on you a few times, just saying that you may be the only one to have that happen and post about it.
  17. It got a little wavy in some spots from the spray foam, as well as the welds, but that can all be fixed in the future. for now, im as happy as can be. -Robin
  18. Thats me learning.
  19. thanks....lol he did, yes he says you can punch the spot where the crack was and you will just hurt your hand. (and i tried, it doesnt move at all)
  20. thats it for now. The Guy doing the work is on FloridaSPL and his name is Leaman Griffin........lives out in the tampa area. and hes resonably priced. Cant wait to see the finished product.
