  1. I'm noticing how well a lot of todays subs sound much better in smaller enclosures. Take some space away from your box using some gallon milk jugs and sand and note how it sounds. As far as SQ is concerned, the type of box can also depend on your amp. If you have lots of power to throw at it, you can get away with using a small, sealed box that'll sound great and still thump.
  2. That enclosure is for the 2007 Classics which still have the 2003-06 body styles. He has the new body style truck (07 present) Actually, I do have the ''Classic" body style. Shoulda been more specific. My bad.
  3. Oh snap! I never seen those before. Thanks for the heads up.
  4. Gonna put some subs under the rear seat in my 2007 Silverado. If I face the subs firing out into the cab, the biggest subs I can fit without moddifying the seats are 8's. But if I face em up, I can get away with 10's or possibly 12's. My question is: Would firing the subs up into the bottom of the seat effect their sound? Is this advisable to do, or would there not really be a difference? Thanks.
  5. I've got one of the few remaining 18" Inhumans that I desperately want to hook up and listen too before I get rid of it. I designed up a quick box in WinISD and came up with these numbers. How do they look to everyone? 8ft^3 tuned to 34Hz 98" of port, 20.31" in length Nothin special, just a good daily driver box.
  6. Waddup all. Haven't posted here since forever. Just thought I'd get back in the game a little bit. Working on my new setup: 2007 Chevy Silverado, Daily driver, JVC head unit, Adire Audio Koda components up front powered by a Zapco c2k2.0, looking for some Soundsplinter or Audiopulse 8's out back. They'll be powered by a Zapco c2k 9.0. Looking forward to chattin with everybody. See ya.
  7. Hmmmmm.....A project like this could cost you a pretty penny. Trips to the parts store, snacks for your friends, booze, cigarettes, another trip to the parts store......by the time your finished, you'll have a major dent in your wallet! I suggest selling me your Uber to help fund your project!
