You don't need 2 midranges, where did that come from? Nobody said that. Peerless SLS 8, and HiVi 3" midband drivers are a good choice, there are others too. There are out of the box passive sets available too, but that is where $$ comes in.

No, never. Idiots. I think they should overproduce for the next 3 months like mad, then fire the unions and start hiring realizing that they can't produce for 6 months. Luckily the engineering isn't unionized so they could also use the time to re-evaluate all designs and make improvements. I believe they can only proceed without the unions if they file for bankruptcy. So, they might be heading in that direction soon.

I believe it is a wiring to the amp problem.

I ran mine alongside the water heater exhaust. Super fast and easy. I just dropped a 2 oz fishing weight on 50lb test from the attic to the basement and pulled the wire up. Or should I say wires as I ran 8 cat6's, 6 rg6's and a bunch of speaker wire. That would work too I imagine. I need to get up in the attic & look. Probably will be up there tonight/tomorrow when I install the satellite & RG6.

After years of having some type of system in the office for music, I have found headphones to be the best for enjoying it, while still keeping the peace in the house. For as little as $100, you can get some great cans too!

Have to figure out how I'm going to wire the CAT6 network & RG-6 satellite with a finished basement. Likely use the chimney space & run a 2" conduit through it from the attic to the utility room, then do drops to where I need it through the wall top plate in the attic.

Only way to really find out the exact frequency an enclosure is tuned to is by measuring the impedance curve.

First computer was a 386, DOS based, no GUI. 640mB hard drive. Still have it at the farm. Lasted me until I left home for college, upgraded to a piece of shit Compaq Intel Celeron 500 with Windows 98.

Just bought a 1.5TB Seagate for the media tank.

I can count mine, because I accrue an extra 1/2 hour of leave for every day away from home. So, I end up gaining around 7 days of leave as a result. I work for the Canadian equivalent to the FAA, Nav Canada. Maintain, repair, install, modify, blah blah blah all of the ANS systems in the province of Saskatchewan (Area of 251,700 sq mi, 48 systems in total. 14 sites most of which are fly in only), and spent a good deal of time on training or conferences throughout Canada, but mainly in Eastern Ontario.

By the end of the year, I'll have spent approximately 110 of my 220 working days on the road. Damn.

I spend at least 5-6x that on my cc monthly, depending on the time of year, but I still don't hold a candle to Mr. Sean over there. I also don't book my flights yet on mine. I'll soon be doing so though. My airfare this year so far is probably in the $15k range, all within Canada, most of that just covering area in my own province. No international flights yet, but those are coming in the new year, once to Boston, once to San Fran if I can fit it into the schedule. I need to start collecting travel points on that shit.

Most of my road noise right now is coming to my ears via my trunk.
