  1. Nope... Ok, the two outputs are internally bridged otherwise known as internally paralleled. They have the same signal going to them. So... if you hook up one dual 4 ohm sub (wired in series) to the left output, and another 4 ohm sub (wired in series) to the right output, the amp will see a 4 ohm load. In your case, the amp puts out 850W into 4 ohms, and therefore, each sub will have 425W available to them.
  2. It has two sets of outputs, but they will be bridged internally, so if you are running two subs, you wire each sub to an output. You will have to wait until the fall before anymore RL-i 8" subs are made, Mike is in the process of re-tooling right now.

  8. Welcome to the good side!
  9. hmm, ubid... need to spend some time on there.
  10. a single 3.5" or dual 2.5" is what I would use.
  11. I would never use 1" ports... like trying to suck a jellybean through a straw. What subs?
  12. Go nuts!
  13. Use an RCA splitter (Y-Adapter) if you are running more than 2 channels. Some amps also have switches so that you can use the input from Channels 1/2 for Channels 3/4. http://www.cardomain.com/item/PHOA568XS

Woot! I will have pics of the sticker as soon as they are on the ride. Thanks for doing all the leg work on this Steve, I am sure it was/is a huge pain in the ass.
  17. WTF? Yes, that was a little over the top, if you feel you need to rant, leave it at Ca.com, not here.
  18. I wouldn't even worry about it.

    welcome!
  20. Yep, only D2... so, two options, find a used one, and then another amp. Or buy two new ones, and a different amp.
  21. Like dimensions, port length, etc. Look at flakko's thread for a good idea what you need... Until then, I assume you have a box with a hole in it.
  22. Too small.... http://www.the12volt.com/info/recwirsz.asp Must be at least 2 ga.
  23. They charge $40CDN/gallon of poly resin at the local Marine store. I have a friend that sells it for $130/5 gallons. Just trying to see where the best deal is
  24. Sounds like a good plan... but where are the real numbers/design? I won't sign off on a plan until I know ALL of the variables.
