		Welcome to the IHoP

Just was offered a job... now just emailed the other two companies I have interviewed with this week to see if they are interested in me or not before I accept this one.

		Impedance Rise

Depends on the driver, shape of the enclosure, amp, etc etc etc.

		Some stuff I got yesterday...

I think it goes like this, slide end of wire, insert wire into block, tighten end into block.

		Impedance Rise

There won't be such a drastic impedance spike in sealed boxes.

		5l-p 15 ported and tuned?

I don't build them (unless you want to pay the shipping from Canada ), but I do make plans for a sum.

- What do you think?
DMM = Digital Multimeter AND yes, a scope is the only way I would ever do it (and did )- What do you think?
Not to the precision you need to run that much power. Believe me, I know.- Need some opinions...
That works Thanks- What do you think?
Do you even know what impedance rise is? Really, you're not experienced enough to be playing the limits like that, and a DMM isn't going to help you overcome this.- Need some opinions...
Like you said yesterday, 1.5-2.5 ft^3 tuned to 28Hz. No rush either, I ran out of fibreglass matte, so I can't work on it anymore until I pick up some, and I don't have any time to do that until at least middle of next week.- help me out with the 12" rl-p
Should work fine, I don't think any of the measurements are different, but worth the check. Also.. you will not be able to use a rear strut bar with the box. Be very careful with the gain on the Hifonics. You probably won't need a subsonic filter, unless you are going to be playing super subsonic frequencies (<20Hz).- Need some opinions...
In theory, Less surface area = Less friction = Less velocity loss = Less noise, more output. So... yes.- Need some opinions...
Yes, I've seen the ports on PE, but the problem is they don't come in long enough lengths, and I am leary of using aeroports because of the in-accurate tuning caused by the shape.- ALmost ready to install..(pics)
I'm with Supa. Nice box- What do you think?
They don't like them mainly because the market is dominated by pre-made unknown tuning frequency pieces of crap.- What do you think?
Even using a DMM, I would not risk it. O-Scope and impedance rise measurements are the only way to tell that it will be ok. Either way, I am not recommending it unless you know forsure what you are doing.- 12" rl-p vs 12" avalanche (specs only)
3mm of Xmax is negilible. - What do you think?
