  1. Have 3 interviews arranged for Monday. Good thing I'm so relaxed
  2. Sure, go ahead, I don't have my computer with me so I can't do it for myself ATM The box size isn't definate yet, since it is going to be fibreglass, I will be measuring it after it is completed, probably using water.
  3. I'm currently a bum looking for work, just finished my electronics engineering technologist degree last week. 4 interviews next week.
  4. I am trying for 2ft^3 tuned to 28Hz ish.
  5. Why does everyone have to live soooo far away. I want in on this little LMT party, but I really don't want to have this sub travel across the border ATM.
  6. Well, my thought come from the fact that slot ports have more surface area, therefore more frictional surfaces than round ones. I'm waiting for Nick to chime in, because I recently remember a thread where we/he discussed this. I'll see if I can find it again.
  7. Another q.. You don't need as much port area when using round ports compared to slotted ones because of the surface area correct?
  8. Adding this little big of motor reading: http://ldsg.snippets.org/motors.php3
  9. http://ldsg.snippets.org/motors.php3
  10. Let's try to keep the magnetism out of this thread now...
  11. Ok... In the process of building a new sub enclosure, fibreglass of course. And I am porting it (RL-p 12). Now, I do not want to use a slot port, what options do I have for nice flared ports? What dia should I go with, is 4" large enough? I saw a couple options on partsexpress, wondering if it is possible to use normal plumbing PVC instead of the supplied stuff so that I can get lengths longer than say 17"? I'll try to get pics up on the build, but, me being digicam poor, may not be able to get any up until it is completed (or I go through a complete film on the old-fashioned cam-era).
  12. O stop talking about it, making me jealous, I want an Atlas for HT  Need a job first
  13. hmmm, Ca.com, good riddance.
  14. That's what I needed to read.
  15. That's a couple screws
  16. Hook up for that price almost always means stolen. People that buy stolen goods are just as bad as the guy stealing it.
  17. 4 rl-i 8's ported But, the 2 rl-i 10's are cool too.
  18. Worthless having pics when all amps look different
  19. What a bad time to be broke.... Mr. Wiggins seems to be isolating himself also... *edit* After reading into it more, I think panties just got all bunched up... Dan didn't say much more than ever woofer is different, and it was blown out of context.
  20. A little somethins something I wrote. http://neons.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=202655 How's the box build coming?
  21. Started playing with some fibreglass today... and ran out of matte, damn
  22. Better low frequency response, flatter response. I am using a Hifonics like you @ 1 ohm with no issues whatsoever (besides the amp quitting on me of course), but I also set everything very carefully (use a o-scope to set the gain, and use no bass boosts, etc)
  23. Rl-p 12? I really really like my 2ft^3 tuned to 28Hz enclosure.
  24. I do $10 and they are yours
