possible amp
Shipping won't be bad on that amp. I could built you a box, since I am in Canada also, but it probably would be best just to find someone in your area. Look on www.canadiancaraudio.com for someone, shouldn't be hard. Tuning is determined by the enclosure volume, port area and the port length. I could do the design for you if you want.

possible amp
Depends on the subs. Usually, sealed or port tuned low is my preference. As for an amp, what is your price range?

how do you like the rlps sq and sql.. i used to have your deck, thing is pretty nice, now i have the 9833 <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I love this sub. So accurate it makes me smile everytime a song has rapid kick drum, and get soo low too.

Official Rl-p D2 Group Buy Thread
That is incorrect. D4's will be the only configuration carried. This is a group buy for a special order.

Decisions, Decisions, Decisions
Nobody. I know of one guy that did, and he doesn't have them anymore. But, then again, barely anyone has anything like I do at the moment too, and all I have is a large MDF box. Rarely do you see a nice install here, most of it is just crap thrown together. I just need to start the fibre work in the trunk so I can quit thinking too much. Either way, I'll be running 2 RL-i's in my HT soon.

Decisions, Decisions, Decisions
I love the 12", but ya know, thoughts, crazy thoughts.

Decisions, Decisions, Decisions
I've been pondering this for a while.... Should I sell the RL-p 12" and pick up 4 RL-i 8's instead and run the amp at 2 ohms, giving each 8 ~250W? Thoughts?

First Looks: SoundSplinter RL-i Series 8" Driver
Give him time, the cone design changes have been plentiful thus far.

First Looks: SoundSplinter RL-i Series 8" Driver
I'd bet these would be absolutely phenomenal in a 'vette! Nice and tight enclosure spec's which won't take up massive amounts of room, but plenty of robustified output <{POST_SNAPBACK}> O, I know, that's why I have been telling him he has to do it

Exciting news from SoundSplinter
Hmm, looks like I may be upgrading again hahaha.

First Looks: SoundSplinter RL-i Series 8" Driver
Hmm, might have to do something with a pair of these. I know a friend of mine is very interested about using one or two in his 84 Corvette.

And... for any Canadians interested, it cost $55 to ship a single RL-p 12" to me.

Speaker/box recommendations
It is, but sure sounds good. Also must add that it is being powered by an MRD-M300.

hmmm, I have design tons of enclosures for Alpine subs, mainly the Type R, and they love to be tuned to around 30Hz. Running a single 10" Type R in my brother's Avenger, and wow, makes ya think that there is much more than a single 10" in there. It is 1.5 tuned to 30Hz.
