  1. Either way, in the end the current is going to go to the battery negative anyways, so whichever method you are more comfortable with will work.

  10. Utility knife, cut off a section of insulation, solder to wire, then wrap in electrical tape. Using taps (scotch locks) or just wrapping the wire around it is just asking for trouble. Coming from someone who used to do this for a living... As for your questions, you need a tach wire & hood pin to install any remote start... and trying to bypass that will get you into all kinds of liability issues.
  11. I still don't see anything holding those batteries to the body of the vehicle....
  12. Thats the copper clad aluminum wire right? I don't get the controversy, its not like Al is that much more resistive than Cu. Internet mouth breathers... *cough*Ca.com*cough*

  14. IB ≠ Free Air
  15. Haven't had a problem here They do run hotter than your typical huge amplifier, but that is part of the design.
  16. No matter what, tuning frequency will always be determined by this equation: Av = cross sectional port area in sq. in. Lv = length of port Vb = enclosure volume If using multiple ports, calculate the total port area & port length. That being said, I would not use different length ports, due to differing port velocities.
  17. As soon as I typed that, stopped raining, started snowing. A foot so far haha.
  18. If this storm doesn't let up soon, it is going to be another one of these: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_America...e_storm_of_1998
  19. Ice Storm just started, raining like mad & freezing instantly.
