PIIHB? Funny, the only posts I make at 306 are the ones you tell me to make. Nope and LOL. Good post Neil. The JVC's I use are cheap IEM's, which I use on my plane trips & at the gym. They are great for blocking out all of the other people (and jet noise) around me, and are comfortable enough to wear for a couple hours at a time. I don't have a set of higher end headphones yet, sometime...

Neil, right down your alley... http://www.306motorclub.com/forum/showthre...ost&t=23509 Headphone talk. As for the age thing... I always got a kick out of people thinking I was closer to 30 than to 20. Actually, I was dating a girl that thought I was older than her when we met, and she was 26 (this was when I was 20). Age is all perception.

Full Range Home Audio Project
wavelength @ Fs = 48ft. 1/4 wave is 12ft, pretty tall. Can be reduced using fill. From what I understand, you will want the Area of the opening of the sonotube to ~ equal the Sd of the subwoofer correct?

Full Range Home Audio Project
I'd like to keep the footprint small, that being said, I can go tall, since this will be moved out of my bedroom into the living room that has a vaulted ceiling soon.
