It doesn't. Every person I went to school with over the years that was glued to their book & had no real world experience pertaining to what they were learning has gone nowhere.

So many problems with just trying to memorize something for one event, when you know damn well there will be no retention of the information.

Cramming is completely opposite of the real world, where you have to reference documents & know how to quickly & accurately. That is one of the most important skills you need! Some off the top knowledge is essential, but nobody can retain everything.

Just use a capacitor (-6dB filter) if it is just temporary... just pick a value that is safe. 1500Hz is too low IMO.
