Welcome to the IHoP
BTW, I haven't used any decoupler material yet for my drivers. Might be a good idea to pull the mids & throw something on the frame sometime though.

Deadener is only mass loading. Not a very good decoupler. At the very least, some high density or closed cell foam would work.

How much should I be charging for enclosure building? After this weekend, I've had at least 3 inquiries.

Were they hot at all ? Ive been wanting to get some but the passive cooling on them doesnt look like its all that great. Hot? Depends on how hot is hot to you. Shut off? Nope. An efficient heatsink design should get warm... that is the purpose.

Welcome to the IHoP
I ran my system for a couple hours last night, at pretty decent volume, and didn't even drop below 11.5V lol PDX's are efficient bastards.

Welcome to the IHoP
Door location depth is pretty lacking in those cars isn't it? I didn't mind the Aura Whisper install in the dash one guy on DIYMA did.

Best/Smallest sealed box size for 2MJ 18'S
2.8ft^3 each is the smallest I would use. I had one in ~2.3ft^3 and it was just too small.

Depends, how much of the vehicle do you plan on doing?

2-MAW 15's off a buttkicker bka1000-4A????
Might be a good idea to stick with a Class D amplifier, for efficiency sake. Budget? You need ~1k @ 1ohm.

Welcome to the IHoP
Deadening was ok (although, how is he going to get the bass into the cabin?) & picked good equipment. The mold of the spare tire well looks like he poured a gallon of resin on top then pushed it around with a brush for a couple minutes & called it a day.... then the top piece is only resin & grill cloth LOL

Alpine Type X
Tweets are excellent... good passive crossovers. Mids leave lots to be desired in the midbass department (as almost all 2-way passive sets do).

need some tweeters
Use these: http://www.madisound.com/catalog/product_i...;products_id=96 Cheapest tweet Madisound has, that way you don't use the stock of a good tweeter that someone else will use... usefully.
