You might want to pick up a set of NS3, HiVi or Fostex 3" wide bandwidth drivers & try out that dash location, might be surprised. Reflections could work to your favor there too. Worst case is that you have $20 worth of 3" wide bands to play with for a different application if they don't work out in the dash.

He's the only one I know who even claims to know something about designing custom crossovers. I can build anything with instructions. Do you have other suggestions? Someone else, he lives in too much of a fantasy world for me. Figure out your drivers, and I'm sure you can get some help from us.

Stage height is a function of installation, not location of driver. Aim them right, and stage height there will be. Ramos has been playing this game since we were in diapers.

Note the comment that they are in an IB (infinite baffle) configuration. That would be why. When running IB, thermal ratings are no longer relevant, and the driver is MUCH more efficient.

RF has been benched closer to 300-330W/channel. Would be perfect for a MJ-18. The shop carries that amp as well.

Umm, all I meant was you need to hook up whatever you are powering with the amp, then measure with the scope to set the gains with it.
