  1. I've owned that unit, and while it is alright, I much prefer the Alpine units, especially their pulsetouch feature.
  2. Meh, just go to the local Radio Crap, they'll have one.
  3. I did an edit.. 4.7uF would probably work fine.
  4. A 4kHz 6dB filter would help that problem... 4.7uF cap for a 8ohm driver.
  5. Ya... I'm going to be bugging my buddy that sold me them.
  6. Looks like stacking the PDX amps is not going to work for me... it is 30C out today, and during my 3.5 hour drive back from my parents' place, the 4.100 went into thermal protection.
  7. You don't... use a coupler.
  8. 1. The USB cannot power a 160GB drive 2. The HU cannot read 160GB worth of information 3. The HU can only read USB flash drives formatted in FAT32 or FAT16
  9. Remember when we had trouble cracking 1,000,000? lol
  10. lol I don't think Sean's lived in Fargo for like a decade lol
  11. Me too... thats the comment I left in the reported post anyways

  13. I responded with a Please explain yourself. Yep, had that in my PM box as well... not entirely sure WTF that is about. Chalked it up to him being a moron.
  14. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...?showtopic=3767 10 tweeters? Disgusting.
  15. Like ngsm13 said... your stereo has nothing to do with failing brakes. Brake boosters run off of the engine vacuum, and when you press the brake pedal, it causes the master cylinder to ramp up pressure, causing the brake capilers (or drums) to apply brake pressure. Sounds like you need to flush the brake fluid, put new stuff in & bleed the system (everyone over looks this... it is a service item). If that doesn't help, need a new master cylinder.
  16. Don't be angry because nobody wanted your Blau subs.
  17. It's mass loading... so as long as it adds mass...
  18. Sir, please lay the crack pipe down.
  19. Rolloff? It is there in bunches on the low end no matter what you do because you are porting. I do recommend not using audio terms if you don't know the meaning of them completely though In my world, I'd tune to 30Hz. Low end good for music, since that is what I like listening to.
  20. http://www.canada.com/saskatoonstarphoenix...5f2&k=67890 Sick
  21. At 2.83V or 1W? Either way, I'd like to see something independant on that one. Bang for buck? Not really.
  22. Another small update to teh build log.
  23. Purchased the PDX1.600 today & installed it: Also, I found another one of those air struts, so I'm going to double up on them & hope it helps lift the lid a touch. Also purchased a Sony XM-250 for $20 to run the tweets until I can afford the PDX2.150 to complete the stack. Doing a little more finishing to the enclosure & starting the front end installation this weekend & next week.
  24. Adrian probably can do it for ya.
