ok, right now, i know im getting 2 15" Q's to compare... they will be in the same size sealed box... same amp (well, 2600Watt, not 2000Watt) but hifonics, same wiring..... same car....2000 hyundai sonata nothings changing, just a more powerful amp, same brand, same product line

basically im wondering right now, whats 2 15" Alpine type r's sealed gonna compare to 2 15" FI Q's sealed

hifonics do great at 1 ohm....

with people sayin maybe and i think, that doesnt satisfy me much... haha its twice the cone area... and i like saying 2 15"s over 1 15" but if 1 is louder i wouldnt mind...

yeah, i meant 2 15" Qs sealed vs 1 15" BTL ported just right now im going for louder, and i previously had 2 15" alpine type R's, so now im just going for louder than that, but but of the two, which will be definitely louder...?

whats a BTL ported gonna be compared to 2 BLs sealed?

you think that ported would be better cause i dont have the room for sealed? you have to go bigger for ported... the box will be 18 deep, 16.5 high, 34 long sealed

If i do 2 15" FI Q's in a sealed box, whould it make a difference if i put anything in the box? and like what would i put in? im going for louder...

well, besides arguing with you about what i want.... I dont know how to design a ported box... i built my ported box before, it turned out EXCELENT if i have the design i can do it, its just that i have to be able to fit it in my car door,(if im doin the 18"s) is there anyone who could help me out on here? If anyone has AIM who could design the box that would be great, im on now, my name is the same as here.....

can 1 12" BTL in an omptimumly ported enclosure compare to 2 18" BLs in an optimumly ported box?

2 sealed 12"s? i had 2 sealed 15" and that wasn't NEAR enough, i want really loud, and i can fit anything bigger than 2 sealed 15"s in the trunk... unless my parents jump on my ass, i really want to go BIG, and to do that, i need to bring it into the more roomy cab....

i do have dark tint, do have an alarm, but the windsheild isnt tinted.... and its going to be on my back seat, just sitting, i dont know how to bolt it down....

thx for the concern..... umm he too the car, scrached the dash a little, broke the ac knob when takin out the deck, that cost $200 to fix!. and backed into something..... messed up the bumper a bit could i just cover up the subs with a sheet or something at night? i need a goot hiding technique, besides carrying a 120lb box in my house everytime i get out of my car... haha

Ok, but my current dilema is that I can do 2 15" sealed in the trunk or I can go ported but I have to put it on my back seat, but if I did that, I'd upgrade to 18s... But the problem is that I only drive a 2000 hyundai sonata and I would only be able to drive 1 other person anywhere, I'd be giving up those seats pretty much, or take it out each time it's more than 2 people In the car, but that's not that often, and the other problem is that if people look in the windshield, and they see it, I kinda live in the ghetto and my car got stolen like 2 weeks ago, so I'm still nervous

Yeah, the hifonics won't do 2600 but it can take a 1 ohm load So can i get a 1 ohm load from 2 dvc 1 ohm or 2 ohm?

What options do I need if I want 2 15" FI Qs sealed powered by a hifonics 2600 watt?

Like straight domination?
