  2. thats really cool looking... good job
  3. ok, that sounds good, thanks not that i would head toward this route, but why not a capasitor?
  4. ok, but with a HOE :-D alt, Wont this put one hell of a load on the car to keep that alternator running?
  5. WELCUMM
  6. ok, im going to be running a 15" FI BTL Ported at 33hz By a Hifonics Bxi-2608D(rated 2600W RMS) going into a 2000 Hyundai Sonata. Right now, im planning on upgrading the Big 3 Do i fuse that Batt to the Alternator or not? Doing the upgrade with 1/0 And running a 1/0 power wire fused at 300A to the amp, and Grounding it with 1/0... What is the MOST Logical and Cost Effective Mothod to Kepp it all in good standings...? Knowing that any of these methods could be inefficient for what im running, here we go... Capacitor? Second Batt? Higher Amp Alternator? Turn the Gain Down On the Amp? or anything else? please tell me what you think will be best and why the other suck balls THANK YOU for any input
  7. well, cut your amp power in half, say 1000 to 500 thats 3dB, ONLY 3dB its audible, but cut it in half again, 250 cut it in half again 125 now your at 9dB nearly half percieved volume say you started at 130dB your at 121dB now nearly half as loud for 1/8th the power
  8. http://www.realmofexcursion.com/downloads.htm and if anyone needs, i can make them longer than what they are.... like if you need 35 sec. or something... :-D OR MAKE YOU ONE!!!!!!! tell me duration, and all
  9. and what about the low pass filter?
  10. ive heard that phase should be at 0 unless the sub is reverse mounted...
  11. what should i set the Sub sonic at if its a 15" FI BTL Ported at about 33Hz ive heard 23 and ive heard 33.. and what the funk do i set the phase to? 0-180 degrees
  12. well, the thing is that he does muchas weeeeeed, he's retarded, i guess he thinks of these ideas at his job at a carwash...? the alternator is stock i think? and my only idea that i told to him was "stop"
  13. hows that run? lol only 3 huh? lol you know different?

when i build my enclosure, if i cut the hole to the stated cutout diameter i should be fine right? because i might get the opportuity to build the box before i get the sub..
  15. ohhh, ok, ill try
  16. go out and measure it...? go get depthxwidthxheight and ill design something real quick for you..
  17. yeah, and if you only do the Q's you should only need one of those amps...
  18. keep it somewhere where it gets adaquate air flow, its got that bigass heatsink on it.... youll be fine with that amp, its may only push around 800-1000Watts you wont hurt the sub with that amp, and if you spent the money to get an amp that does around 1000-1200Watts, you'll only get near a 2dB increase
  19. what did you order? i know that they dont get any BTL motors in until next monday
  20. sandsnip3r replied to sandsnip3r's topic in General Fi

Well, so i was ready to order my BTL last week, but scott was out of town... so i waited a week untill monday(today) talked to scott, but they wont get any BTL motors till Next Monday!!!!!! ahhhhhhh so im sad, it keeps getting pushed back, life is tough without mah BASS!!!! haha so with all of those options what potential power could i run it at?
  22. just know that if you cut the amp power in half, "essentially" it should only be a 3 decibel decrease
